The kyuubi attack - Not a coincidence!

Ill keep this post short. The kyuubi just showed up out of nowhere to attack konoha for no reason? Gimme a break!

I think someone or something decided to plant the kyuubi to destroy konoha. It was only through the sacrifice of Yondaime that their plan was foiled.

I dunno, I just think that a random god showing up and wreaking havok is too chaotic and random. There has to be a reason behind it. I bet this reason could be a real plot twist later in the story. But what this reason is, I dunno.

Thats why exists the so called chaos theory, to deal with random phenomenos that can't be analized by mathematics, like the weather.

i think it had been stated that the kyuubihad been appearing every hundred years or so, and that it's attack anything wihout reason before, so Konoha can just be unlucky to been build where kyuubi appeared at that time.

I don't think that Akatsuki would have had any grudge against Konoha. It's more likely that Akatsuki is trying to use Kyuubi's powers to meet their goals. (Any ideas on what Akatsuki's objectives are?)

There are ways to analyze chaotic factors with math...theres an entire course at my university that deals with it. Not to mention, they're not "random phenomenon", its just many minute factors which are unaccounted for. If all factors were known, anything could be predicted.

Yeah, I've heard something along the same line as that. Kyuubi was referred to being similar to a natural disaster.

I think its already been discussed that Kyuubi was not, and cannot be, a summoning. He's a powerful demon lord. The power you would have to have to summon him would be like a genin compared to a kage. What's so hard to believe that powerful demons like to kill people every now and then. Kyuubi probably picked Konoha because of the tasty women. Or some other stupid fact. Who can tell what a demon is thinking?

I just really dont understand whats so hard to beleive that Kyuubi did infact just attack Konoha randomly. You know every hundred years or so he has to satisfy his taste buds for destruction. Besides the "implied" strongest Hokage if not the strongest ninja died in the process of sealing him, Kyuubi was so strong that he couldnt even bring him down into death it would take huge amounts of chakra to summon him if you could... and once you did whats stopping him from eating you? No one summoned him and no one controls him end of story.

no doubt Kyuubi being cocky and think humans cant beat him every 100 years and end up being sealed in a child by legendary 'yellow flash' yondaime of Konoha. :3

The Kyuubi enjoys killing and destruction, it's what it does. Remember when Naruto met him all it wanted to do is devour him (though one could argue it's because of the fact Naruto is his prison). The Kyuubi is a natural evil like a hurricane or tsunami that wipes out life and balances the world.

It's way too powerful for anyone to summon, and if by some miracle they summon it they would never be able to control it.

well first the kyuubi is not a god but a demon , but i got your point you mean he cant die. and no... oro isnt the one who summuned it neither is itachi cuz he was only 5 when it happened he must be really outstanding cuz he wasnt even able to use sharingan at that age

Your right. There are just too many events that happen to be at the same time. This was just the right push to get of the Uchiha clan. To be honest, there is only one person in my mind that would of the risk destroying the village in order to get rid of the Uchiha clan: Danzou. He even used the Hokage ANBU list to get close enough to try to kill one of the last Uchiha: Sasuke. His methods are unscrupulous to say the least.

Here is one of the things that bothered me is the name of Danzou's ANBU, Root. Root is the strength of a tree. My guess is that ANBU Root has been around since the 1st and 2nd Hokage. This is all speculation but if the Senju clan could manlipulate trees (of course the first was the master of it). Then maybe Danzou who heads the ANBU Root is one of the direct decesents of the Senju clan. This could be one of the reasons why he was up for the position of third Hokage. It is appearant that the Senju clan hated the Uchiha clan and this could be one of the motivations of why Danzou wiped the Uchiha clan out. I wouldn't be surprised if one of the reasons of the creation of the ANBU Root was to wipe out the Uchiha's. All of this is purely speculation and I have no proof of it.


Also we have seen in Manga 398-399 a picture where Madra summoned the nine tail in his fight with the first Hokage.
