Oh come on. If they can write or read it, surely they can do something as simple as pronounce it out loud, even if with a heavy accent. Learning to speak it is easier than learning to write it. You could compare the situation to any other language I guess: some people can speak English but can't write it (because of bad spelling or the likes for example), but there are few who can read and write but not speak it...

And in Asian languages, the difficulty in reading and writing compared to speaking is even higher than in English, because of the kanjis and whatnot, which are not written in a phonetic manner, thus have to be learned by heart.

Neji eats plain rice, with snow peas, onion, and carrots for color. It's the most practical of meals, and is efficent on prep time and cost. And as we all know 9 out of 10 times he's all about efficentcy.....

You know it's a hell of fun to watch shrimp crackers actually being prepared. :amuse First you'd have this tiny semi-transparent pink little piece, just about 3 or 4 centimeters in diameter, then you see it plopped into the oil and you just watch as it expands to 2 or 3 times its initial diameter (thus over 4 times its initial size) and looks Nothing like what it looked like in the beginning. Whoo, it's pretty good actually! Just one thing: the spots on Neji's face in panel 2 look a bit weird. It clashes with the smoothness of the rest of the colorings. The color on his face seems a bit too dull too. But the rest is great, and I love the way you do the trees. :D

Those Viz translations are really bad. I can't understand why they have to change things so much.

I watched YYH, and there were 2 sets of subs... US and Japanese. So you'd think the Japanese is... well, Japanese, but it wasn't... it was English directly translated from Japanese and was completely different from the US translation. It was like the US translation was a whole new story. :S
