I wanted to know how strong this guy is (I just started reading the manga so I don't really know much about him).
So what the title says.

I'm only up to chapter 80, but from what I've heard, I think it would take someone with significantly FTL speed and reaction times and nuke - level firepower or equivalent.

Can he defeat someone like......hmmmm......a gold saint ?.

Well, I only know of Saint Seiya what I've heard from people online, but I would probably say no.
Can he defeat someone like......hmmmm......a gold saint ?.
Its bin done
And to awnser your question. NO he cant. In order to make it a fair game you must
A - down grade a Gold Saint
B- up grade SDK Character's including First Aka no Ou.
(Huge SDK Fan and SS fan here)

Downgrade or upgrade by how much ?. What's the power gap ?.
Downgrade or upgrade by how much ?. What's the power gap ?.
Speed is Even (IMO)
Raw energy or power can be debated. But Gold Saints seem to have the upper hand.
Strength - Saints
Durability - Saints
Instant Death Skills - One of the main reasons why Saints are so broken are because they have cheap instant wins.

He is in top Gold Saints level
Can he defeat someone like......hmmmm......a gold saint ?.
Yeah why not??
Most Likely guys like Aphrodite will be killed by him...
Aka no Oh can't be killed unless you seal him or use the Moramasa's to destroy a gate to the place where his heart is placed!!!
he can turn people to stone or even control gravity or warp attacks to his opponent!!! (If he can use all Mibus techniques!!)
Id :

I disagree I believe he can kill low level Gold Saints ^^
Remember our lil Gold Saints vs Mibu Clan debate??

A lot of those aren't omnipotent.....
Every single one of them is Omnipotent.
But its debateable wether the King of SS or The Dahaka are Omnipotents or not.

No, you've shown you don't really understand what 'omnipotent' means.
The Nameless Pharaoh
10-27-2006, 02:14 PM
Well after all the explaining i got from you guys, I know what Omnipotent is. And Besides, it was stated that these guys are omnipotent.
PS: Scratch the Dahaka from the list.
Orion

neo is only debeatbley omni in the matrix and even then idk.
The Nameless Pharaoh
10-27-2006, 03:36 PM
Reasons to why they are Omnis:-
1- LON: She created the Slayers universe.
2- Atem: It was stated. Besides, i don't want to prove it all over again.
3- The Shaman King: You're more than wellcome to ask for a scan.
4- God of Darkness: Created the Onimushaverse.
5- Man of Miracles: Allow wikipedia to explain. Created the SPAWN verse.
6- Neo: In the Matrix, he can will ANYTHING.
7- The One Being: Stated. Besides, he is the reason MK verse and reality exist.
8- TOAA and TP: Everybody on NF says so.
The rest are debateable.

2- Atem: It was stated. Besides, i don't want to prove it all over again.
Doesn't mean it's true if it's not demonstrated.
3- The Shaman King: You're more than wellcome to ask for a scan.
I don't think one scan will do it. You'd have to show that he is unchallenged by anything and can do everything.
4- God of Darkness: Created the Onimushaverse.
Doesn't make him omnipotent. Non - omnipotents can create universes.
5- Man of Miracles: Allow wikipedia to explain. Created the SPAWN verse.
Not sure I would have to read up on it.
6- Neo: In the Matrix, he can will ANYTHING.
Matrix is a simulation, a computer program. He can't control the real world outside of it.
7- The One Being: Stated. Besides, he is the reason MK verse and reality exist.
Would need more info.

1- Atem never lost a battle. Once he unlocked his magic he defeated Zorc iinstantly. He was unchallanged anyways before he locked his own magic away (Stated that nobody defeated the Pharaoh or was of a challange to him).
2- The Shaman King doesn't apppear in the manga but it was stated that the shaman who wins the tournament will fuse withe The Omnipotent & Omniscient King of spirits. I can still provide the scan if you want it.
3- God of Darkness did the same feats of LON.
4- The One Being was stated Omnipotent. He is reality itself.
5- Neo outside the matrix is a just human but inside is Omnipotent.
6- Check Wikipedia for Man of Miracles.

I did, there was no article.
And the fact that the pharaoh had to seal himself up means that he's not omnipotent, if he was he could have just defeated anyone instantly just by willing it, or even made it so nothing ever threatened anyone ever or ever would.

Man of Miracles: Here you go, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Man_of_Miracles_%28comics%29
Atem: He sealed himself so to protect the world from the shadow games and himself (See reason below). Besides he sealed himself because he was the only one who could revive Zorc and the shadow games. He erased his memory so that the magic of the shadow realm will never be released again. Oh, and Marik (an antagonist) said that the Pharaoh could've ruled the universe.
EDIT: @4thandnaruto: Could you tell me more about Pyron please. Much appreciated.

He sounds like he could be omnipotent.

That's just it. If he was really omnipotent, he could do all that with just a thought without having to seal himself. He simply could have destroyed zorc and the magic instantly.

He discovered his name and did it instantly (His name is supposed to be the "key" or "password" to unlock his power, thats why some antagonists sought to discover his name and gain his power). I even gave you the video. He just happened to choose to seal himself instead or ruling the universe. (Besides, sealing himself was good to the plot or we wouldn't have a story)

So apparently there was something he didn't know, if he was really omnipotent he would know it just by wanting to know it. Like Doctor Doom said in Secret Wars, "Omniscience is a necessary corollary of omnipotence".
The Nameless Pharaoh
10-27-2006, 04:43 PM
He has the Millenium necklace, which allows him to see and know the future, past and everything in the presesnt. So there must have been another reason.
Endless Mike
10-27-2006, 04:46 PM
The fact is that if there is something he couldn't do, then he's not omnipotent, by definition.
The Nameless Pharaoh
10-27-2006, 04:47 PM
There is nothing he can't do.
Endless Mike
10-27-2006, 04:49 PM
You just said he didn't know his name, and he couldn't seal the shadow magic away without sealing himself away.
The Nameless Pharaoh
10-27-2006, 04:55 PM
Sorry if I didn't make it clear. He could seal the magic without sealing himself but he sealed himself because he wanted to protect the world because he was the only one able to unseal it. He wiped his memory clean, thus forgetting his name so that no one can unlock the magic.
Endless Mike
10-27-2006, 04:56 PM
He could have simply destroyed the magic if he was so worried about it.

EDIT: @4thandnaruto: Could you tell me more about Pyron please. Much appreciated.depends on what version?
what version do u want to know about?
anime
comic
game-i havent played the game so i dont know about the game pyron but i think its the strongest version of pyron.
The Nameless Pharaoh

Of cource, but we wouldn't have YuGiOh!. There would be no story.
Endless Mike
10-27-2006, 05:00 PM
That's not an excuse. I might as well say that Kakashi is omnipotent and could have just killed Orochimaru and the Akatsuki with a thought but he didn't because then there would be no story. The fact is he couldn't do something, he's not omnipotent.
The Nameless Pharaoh
10-27-2006, 05:03 PM
I never said that he couldn't destroy the magic. He can destroy it the same way it was created.

If he was really omnipotent, he could destroy it any way at all or make it so that it never even existed in the first place.

The strongest or most common verion I guess.im just going to put him in the power directory it may take awhile but check the power directory when im done.
easy enough to simply say that if he were truly omnipotent, they'd never write a series with him as a main character. True omnipotents are rather...boring. They can't really be challenged by anything, especially considering omniscience comes along with omnipotence.
The Nameless Pharaoh

he could destroy it any way at all
Destroying it wouldn't solve the problem because he had the power to revive it again. (Something he didn't want).
or make it so that it never even existed in the first place.
He did that at the end of the series.

His magic and memories were locked for the entire series. In the back story, they said that no one had the power to challange him. There are two times where his magic is unlocked: 1- 5000 years before the main storyline. And 2- At the end of the series.

But if he was really omnipotent he could have locked it or unlocked it whenever he wanted.

What have I been posting this entire thread ?. I said that he had the power to lock and revive it. And he could do it anytime he wanted.
