okay, technically, i want to get a reply from Xeleron, and Kevin, but whatever i wanna know what others think, as well.
well! what i was wondering was, which anime subbing group is the best one to get Gundam SeeD Destint from? cause, lately, i've been getting mines from SeeD Fansubbs. only cause they are faster, but, like....who do you guys think is better? im jw, i might change to a dif. group.
Edit: whoever, which ever mod keeps touching my post (about the top part) well, STOP. god, let me talk. and dont try to edit what i say. or else, i will go to DD for unfairness. have a nice day. :smile-big

Aone & A-Kingdom are the best subbing group for Destiny IMO. Aone's quality is really, really nice. compare it with other torrents and you'll know the difference right away. usually their torrents come out after Seed-Fansubs, but the wait is worth it. and plus Seed-Fansubs only does Destiny [thus their name] so its easier for them to focuse on that one thing. A-kingdom and Aone have other stuff to worry about too.
and just a little note i wanted to add but Aone's fonts and karaoke effects are cool and fancy too =D

lol, well, i get the seed fansub version for the same reason as u: speed speed speed. Everybody says that anone has better quality. But i really don't care that much about the style. As long as i can understand what they are saying it's fine. But if i had to burn everything on DVD i'd go for anone for sure.
Aone/Akingdom. Best quality, and all the little stuff like better font, colors, and the little blurbs explaining Gundam terms for people not familiar with all the different mobile suits and weapons. Plus theyre sometimes faster than SEED Fansubs.

I tend to download from Aone/Akingdom. However, Seed fansubs is usually faster than Aone by 1-2 days. In terms of translation, Aone does a better translation, but Seed fansubs' mistake isn't too serious.
Hey, Kevin, you don't burn your animes onto CDs or DVDs? I only have a 60gb, so I have to burn them every 3-4 months. :notrust

well, i have an 80 gig HD, but in 99% of the case, i just download, watch and delete. I almost never burn animes on cds or dvds. I'm just too lazy for that.

I download AonE and A-Kindoms fansubs because the subtitles are very clean and they explain words you might not otherwise understand. They also have the most 'correct' subtitles or so to say, I have never liked SEED-Fansubs, they held really poor quality in Gundam SEED where I think they spelled Lacus, Rakusu. A minor error but still enough to rule them out for me.
As for how much anime I have scrapping around on my computer... Too much, right now I have a total of 39 complete anime series wich results in a total of 217gb of harddrive space. :P
And a few mangas (Naruto, FMA, Bleach...)

Actually, when Seed started everyone spelt it Rakusu, if I remember rightly. And besides, Lacus and Rakusu are pronounced exactly the same. I still think Lux is more accurate, but the sub groups/official translators don't seem to agree with me...
But then again, the official translators can go to hell. It's just awful. Aile?! AILE?! AIR! AIR! IT'S GOD-DAMN AIR!
Sorry, that just really winds me up ^^; Just an example of stupidity, pure and simple.

Well, in ep37 or something of Gundam SEED. When Athrun has learned of Lacus "betrayal", helping a "spy" and all that. He remembers her talking about the flowers in her garden beeing her first audience. Then it struck him that she must be at the concert hall. So he wen't there. And as he enters the lobby, you can see a sign above the door wich says "Lacus Clyne", not Lux Klein, or Rakusu Klein as some groups spelt it.
As for the Strike's back-pack, it really is named Aile. :P
But I have to agree, Lacus (when they say it) sounds like Lux.

For once this isn't an American mistake...it was a Japanese one >_< It's just sooo annoying! I refused to put on the "Aile" transfer on my MG Strike.

yeah, totally, i just noticed, that in the new end theme, where they sing "Life Goes on, and Are we loving" their translation was "Life is Strong--" i was like "uhh....how can you mix up Goes from Is??"
so, Im definatley not dleding from seed fansubbs no more.

I just do both. I download seedfansubs first for speed. Just to get watching the newest episode out of my system. Then I wait for the A-Kingdom-AonE one for quality. I zap the seedfansubs one. It works for me.
