From what I saw. Fire Nation weapons>>>>One Piece weapons on average. A Fire Nation fleet led by Iroh, Azula, with Zhao leading the rear. Zhao ships will fire on them and sink them and Iroh and Azula's ships will make a marine stew with firebending.

Other way around actually. A buster call can reduce an entire island to ashes in a matter of minutes. Sozins comet might make it possible for the FN to win but otherwise the WG will steamroll them. Firebenders are on average less powerful than basic ninja's, and thats leagues under Head Quarters captains.

Throw in someone like smoker who cannot be harmed by fire or Aokiji who has utter and complete dominance on any water based medium and has massive physical and DF based power and you have slaughter.

Think about this. Aokiji alone could have halted the seige of the NOrth. His Ice age would freeze the entire ocean that the navy had staked out, all the way up the ships entombing them all to die either of hypothermia or when they step out they can be entombed.

This is the power of Aokiji. Even not coutning sengoku and the other 2 Admirals.

It is leaning in the marines's favor. the ocean won't stay frozen under the effect of Sozin's Comet. Firebenders will melt the ocean in seconds. Firebenders can bend Smoker right into the water and drown him

Or more powerful Like Garp whom for the single remaining spoiler free part of my soul I will not expound on.

Given that Sozins comet was only enough to wipe out the airbenders and kickstart world invasion, I don't see it as factor capable of completely turning such massive odds.

Looks like marines win. But Ice Age won't be a problem. Firebenders can unfreeze themselves. Unless Ice age keeps them frozen.

Fire Nation War Ships > Marine Battle War Ships

Both ships are the same size, and have the same fire power. but the Marine ships have thick steel only on the top and bottem of the ship, where the Fire Ships are steel all around. Plus the fire nation doesn't need wind to power thier ships. All they need are skilled fire benders to power the ship. So the Fire Ships win in durability and energy power.

Both sides have soldiers that are physically fit. The fire nation have fire benders, but the WG soldiers have guns and rifles.

The biggest thing avatar has going against it is that they are made of normal meat.

Oh and Green I disagree w/you on the count of the warships. There are advantages to the steel ships of the FN, but firepower is not one of them.

Zuko unfroze himself, even though it was a light freeze. Their insides will never freeze besause they are firebenders

No, their insides are made of meat. They can heat themselves up if they are alive, but instant cryostasis immediately drops them into suspended animation. If the FN can keep their frozen soldiers alive until they develope medical technology a good deal more advanced than out own, then yes they can bring them back. But thats gonna be way after the WG burns them to the ground.

ZUko was never frozen like Luffy or Robin, He was partially encased in ice, and encapsulated in ice, and I agree that Firebenders can recover better or prevent better, but from a ice capsule freeze, and ice time freeze or an ice age freeze your doomed.

I am also amused rewatching by the fact that an ice partisan is just a spear of ice but Aokiji chucks it hard enough to cause an explosion on a cliff a mile or so away.

I'd have to give this to the WG. The sheer power of their upper ranks makes up for the lack of advanced technology, even though the Fire Nation does seem to have that advantage (and also the leader of the Fire Nation is confirmed to be an evil bastard).

However, I'd like to add that the WG have the Sea Train, den-den mushi, and cameras already, so if they WANTED to build a tank they'd have the resources to do so.
