Kirby has the strength and all the abilities from Kirby Super Star, plus he can choose any of his abilities at will, and switch them whenever he wants. (Like during Milky Way Wishes).

Luffy has access to all of his gears.

I seriously doubt Kirby could just eat Luffy. Kirby can only eat weak enemies, and Luffy is one hell of a powerhouse.

Yes but in SSB/SSBM the people that Kirby eats live somehow. In reality, all the victims that Kirby eats die.

But Kirby slays mosters that have the power to destroy entire planets. Plus Kirby killed Marx, who was considered to be one of the most powerful beings in the universe after Nova granted his wish to control everything.

Plus MWW Kirby can rotate and pick any ability he pleases. Luffy is in for one hell of a fight, even if he relies on his gears.

Strongest in the kirby universe doesn't necessarily mean very strong in the One Piece universe. I forgot, but don't physical attacks not hurt Kirby very much? If so, then with all of Kirby's abilities, he may just be too much for Luffy.

Marx seemed to have a DBZ power level. He could fly, shoot huge energy blasts, teleport, create black holes, shoot super-rapid electric needles, shoot freeze bombs, launch multiple slicer blades, fuse with matter, and even create space-time rifts. In my opinion, Marx is a very high tier in the fictional universe.

Also, your correct about physical attacks not hurting Kirby very much. Kirby has been seen being smashed by huge rocks and being completely unharmed. But the same could be said about Luffy.

This would be a close match, especialy if Luffy uses Gear 2, since would be quite a bit faster than Kirby. But with Kirby's huge variety of different techniques, Kirby could probably overpower Luffy in the end.

Kirby takes this one. One of his 1000 different powers should work on Luffy, or he can simply eat him and copy the gomu gomu.

I'm rather biased towards Kirby, because:
a) Kirby is one of my favourite Nintendo characters, and
b) I can't stand Luffy :P.

Also Locard, I agree with your sig - Kimimaro could take on most of the members of Akatsuki... simultaneously (I still think that Itachi, with his high level Genjutsu could probably take him) - but I won't be adding it to my sig because I have little enough room as it is. :cry

One of the main factors that makes Kirby formatible for Luffy is that Kirby could take Luffy's punchs head on and not die from the impact. The reason why Luffy wins so much fights in the Battledome is because most fictional characters would die from the shear force of being punched so hard.

Kirby also has the ultimate defence when in Mirror ability. His barier is virtualy unbreakable. Kirby's ultimate offence would be his fully charged Kamehameha-like Plasma blasts.

I won't include Kirby's Crash ability in the battle because it would baisically destroy everything since its a nuclear-based attack on the atomic levels.
