I just wanted to put him as my avatar since a few days before I decided to get an avatar I felt the desire to play VP again, but the CD somehow got scratched beyond repair and my VP-hungry soul looked for anyway to satiate it's hunger, which it got by putting my favorite character of the game as my avatar, I would buy the game again, but I'm poor at the moment.

I'm interested in playing Valkyrie Profile since Star Ocean 3 had Lenneth as one of the side-quest mega-bosses. I kicked her ass, with significant effort. Now I want to know what kind of badass can kill Cliff Fittir in one hit.

Oh really!!! I though that he's Kabuto..It's Lezard, I admit they look alike a lot, jemakai (I think it was him) said that in a thread in HOU where some guy asked for all the weird things in both the manga and anime (like easter eggs or errors).

I'm interested in playing Valkyrie Profile since Star Ocean 3 had Lenneth as one of the side-quest mega-bosses. I kicked her ass, with significant effort. Now I want to know what kind of badass can kill Cliff Fittir in one hit.Lenneth starts okay in the game (thanks to the sword Freya gives her that allows triple combo).

But after the 1st dungeon, since Freya takes the triple combo sword with her when she leaves, Lenneth's kind of weak, I found myself relying more on Arngrim (with his gigantic sword which is Cloud's sword 3 or more times the lenght) to do damage and Lenneth just to accumulate hits for the uber attacks.

Lenneth isn't strong unless you get the Ending A, in the last battle she's god... literally, but in Hard mode I found her much stronger and I don't know why, maybe it's because in hard mode it was train or get killed in a random battle in a random dungeon, all the dungeons in VP are frustating, especially that weird living-tower thing that looks like one of the things Doctor Seuss may have dreamed about.

and what's with the game it seems fun.. it has been a long time I didn't play with PS2.. the last game I played was Fatal Frame 2... and I didn't finish it.. I saw the cheats from the net... it was no fun at all... it's like I know what's gonna happen.

Thrawn was impressive when it came to how he could see through his enemies so well, predicting their attacks and seeing through their deceptions. He gained alot of power by tracking down key resources and using them in amazingly innovative ways. The guy had no physical power at all. Anyone got anything else? Anyone in the dark as to who Thrawn was?

He's from Star Wars. One of about eleven or so Grand Admirals for the empire, he appeared years after the events of Return of the Jedi and made the fragmented Imperial remnant in to a highly lethal threat with a brilliant mind and little else. If you want, you can read about it in Timothy Zahn's novel trilogy.

I've actually heard the phrase 'old blood boiling' in real life once or twice, and it just refers to a person with violent tendencies in the past. I could be wrong, but I think he's just an extremely violent man by nature and tries to keep that submerged.

When he got his nose slashed by the 'Lucky' guys. Some people think he let himself get hit, but I honestly think he got sloppy for a moment and actually took a hit for real. Forget the red eyes, just look at his facial expression when he glares at them. He was PISSED. He seems to have quickly sqelched that anger though once Naruto kicked the ninjas down. He was still all stoic and snooty even after getting a Rasengan to the abdomen, other than that moment of shock when his chakra ran out. By the time he poofed away at the end of the Sannin fight though, he was back to being snooty, even doing the little arrogant "Hm".

I totally forget what point I'm trying to make with this post. Forgive me.

I wanted to ask how long do you think it will take until we finally figure out what Kabuto's real motives are? Obviously, he's hiding some sort of agenda. I'm just curious as to when it can be speculated he'll show them. Also, I really hope there is a battle between Kakashi and Kabuto. Also, I wanted to ask you (BenP) who is that in your Avatar? Is it someone from hellsing?

I wish I knew when we'd see Kabuto's true nature, he's very good at hiding it. I figure either the next time we get an arc directly involving Orochimaru we'll see it, OR, maybe not until close to the end of the series.

I also wonder if maybe he and Sasuke are gonna cook something up. Like, "Okay, in three years, when he tries to take your body, we surprise him and take him out," or something.

My avatar is the character Kuroro Lucifer from the anime/manga Hunter x Hunter. He's one of the main villains of the show. And yes, he is the coolest villain ever. :P

That's a very good theorie, and I do hope something like that happens. Kabuto is bound to have something up his sleeve when it comes to orochimaru.

I doubt Kabuto has a seal. He's already at Kakashi's level of ability, maybe beyond... can you imagine his strength if he had a Level 2 form? He'd probably surpass Orochimaru! And I doubt Orochimaru would want that now.

I totally agree. I find he has no super mega special blooline or ability, his techniques are not relatively powerfull (as in brute strength), yet he still was able to fight against tsunade, and he is said to be at kakashi's level.

Hopefully, we can see a small story about how he became orochimaru's right hand man. Woot.

Oof, good question Dagda_mor. Maybe he'll have super natural regeneration? It would be neat if he ends up looking like a frakenstein style monster. He's covered with stiches. Still has his own limbs but just covered with scars. Hmm. If he did have a curse seal though, I'm pretty sure he could extend the range of his chakra scalpel. Most likely turn it into a visible blade or something. Nothing like trying to injure someone that can sever your internal organs from 2-3 feet away with a swing of his sword, especially if you can't parry it with a kunai.

Anyway, if Kabuto-san (GAH! The '-san' is a habit from watching Naruto speak about him for a long time) were to get a curse seal... First off, that would look kind of freaky, you know. Anyway. Perhaps he could maintain the skill to get that chakra scapel which could cut the arteries.

When Kabuto is fighting Tsunade, Tsunade asks why he doesn't target her arteries and heart. Kabuto answers that he can't maintain the precision during a fight to penetrate the heart muscles. So, if he could maintain that precision, he could kill in one blow.

Also, maybe after the assumed time jump (or whatever it's called), if it ever happens, Kabuto would be able to manage some things like what was mentioned before without a cursed seal...

Actually, that's pretty good. Something as simple as being able to concentrate better would make him extremely strong. He could simply touch you once and you'd be dead.

That's a good series of questions Kunoichi no kiri. I actually think Orochi doesn't give him one for a few reasons:

1) He's already strong enough without a seal

2) Orochi doesn't trust him as much as we assume he does. This is my big reason actually. They have a strange relationship. Especially since Orochi keeps telling Kabuto how he can ruin his plans.

3) He can't risk losing him so he doesn't want to risk the 1/10 chance of surviving

Anyway, I assume it's one of those you can't do it to yourself type of deals for the seal. Considering 1/10 people survive. It would suck if he decided to bite himself and he ends up dying from it.

Good question Riykon about the seal of sasuke's. I'm not sure. So far everybody he (orochi) has tried to take over with the seal is either not ready (sasuke) or not perfect (kimo). I'm not sure if he'd be able to access his own seal though. He could I suppose.

What I'm wondering is if Oro taught Kabuto some of those forbidden jutsu's. If he did, that would only make kabuto stronger. I'm assuming that he had to teach him a few at least.

I would find oro with a curse seal very unusual, because I remember when the sound 4 go to get sasuke they told him once the curse seal grows you become a slave of oro. Can orochimaru really become a slave of himself??

As of kabuto and hidden jutsus, he probably learned a few.
on a side note: He must be good in ninjutsu, because during the fight vs tsunade he told her tai wasn't his speciality, yet he was able to compare to tsunade and her herculean strengh.

Ha! that's the question I've been wondering about ever since kabuto and kakashi met. Who's stronger? Well kakashi states that he isn't quite up to the task of fighting against kabuto but kabuto also ran because he didn't want his jutsus to get copied just yet. Both Oro and Jir say that kabuto's at kakashi's level. But I won't put too much trust into that either. I know that kabuto beat the tar out of Shizune without too much of a problem and he also did a pretty good job vs tsunade. But he only won because he knew that she was scared of blood. But that's exactly why I think kabuto would win though. Kabuto fights dirty and sneaky. He always seems to be a step ahead. Although kakashi has a whole bunch of things going for him: sharingan, chidori, 100-1000 jutsu's he has copied and experience. Kabuto seems to do just fine the way he is (medical jutsu, healing ability, sneaky fighting, dead heart skill, medic pills). He's definitely hiding his true potential for that right moment. Hopefully, it'll be a good battle between those two.

As to Kabuto vs Zabura? All Kabuto needs to do is scalpel zab's arms and he can't use his giant sword. Whoopy. Zabura relied too much on haku's abilites. He's the one that figured out how to stop kakashi's sharigan. Not zabura.

Kakashi vs Tsunade: Depends if Kakashi knows about tsunade's blood phobia and if he's willing to abuse it to win. We all know Kabuto is willing to abuse it.

Anyway, for now i'm inclined for kabuto to win. But you never know. Kabuto maybe hiding something and so could Kakashi. I just can't wait to see who wins. Unless kabuto ends up being the real villian of the series. That would kick ass too.

If it was Kabuto vs. Kakashi, a fight that is so likely to happen that it's not even funny, I'd figure that Kakashi would win... Or Kabuto would run. I mean, he seems to do a pretty good job of looking out for himself.. Good self-preservation techniques. I don't think that Kabuto would actually go down by Kakashi... It'd be clear that Kakashi would beat him, though. They're all geniuses, really.

I don't think kabuto has an good defense, but great healing powers, so whatever hits him, like rasengan, its possible for him to survive.


As for kakashi vs kabuto, I dunno, I picture kabuto using someone as "bait" to beat kakashi, like kabuto did when they first met. Because kabuto's the bad guy he'd use kakashi's weaknesses against him, how dirty they are or not.

Side note: Kabuto is said to be as strong as kakashi, and kakashi is one of the strongest jounin of konoha, and he's..26? Kabuto is only 19..19!! this guy is a true genius! Outstanding, no?

There may be a possibility of a slight change in costume for Kabuto... But then again, he seems pretty happy wearing what he has. Unless Oro forces him into a sound outfit *twitches*.
