neg rep is harsh in this forum....many people in this forum neg rep other just because they have different opinions....this is a forum so all opinions are fine....i think that people should be neg repped if they spam say bad things and other insulting stuff.....but should not neg rep if they have different opinions.....:amuse

and can the mods upgrade the rep bar??

if the green bar is full the next step would be starting over with one bar but a blue one or a diferent color maybe...:amuse

so the people that are "Ne plus" will be full but they are color blue or other color....

just a suggestion....

As rep increases the color of the bar does. Just a different shade of green though. Green is the best color to define a positive rep so any other color won't do as best as that.

Agreeing and disagreeing on a person post is mainly the point of rep. So members opinions is important in the reputation system. Also, you didn't mention positive rep. O:

why is that green is the best color??

what i mean to say is if you have already full green the next step is a different color.....lets say - is a green rep and * is blue

if you have already ---------- green rep (2 kinds of green)

the next rep is * blue rep

and if you maxed out ********** blue rep that is Ne plus or something higher

because the maxed out green means many things like Ne Plus, luminous, celestial etc.

this is only a suggestion but if people dont like it its ok.....

and about the neg rep....

opinions are fine in this forum...thats why its called forum....

for example my opinion is that gaara is stronger than naruto

and another person said that naruto is stronger than gaara....

its not ok to neg rep him right??

some people in this forum neg rep others because of this....they think that they are always correct and dont care what other people think....they just neg rep people and stick to what they think....they are so narrow minded....

Why are you worried about the color and all?
New people would come and start asking all over the boards for rep to get to blue since it is "cooler".

im not worried.....its just a suggestion...its just because maxed out green has many names like liminous and Ne plus etc...thats just it...i just like to distinguish them better.....

no.....

there are some forums that include a blue bar and sometimes a completely new bar that is gold. This forum is not one of them and it's not needed....it would just create a new form of elitism and rep whoring just for the new bar.

The rep ranks do a pretty good job of discerning who has more rep as long as you remember the ranks:
paragon of hope < honorable bastion of truth < guardian of the faith < luminary < celestial < ascendant < transcendant < rapturous < le sans pareil < ne plus ultra

Differing opinion is not what causes a neg....how the differing opinion is stated is what usually causes the neg and it's completely acceptible

It CANT be that hard to adjust the rep bar that way so it wouldnt stop to 6 bars.

im brian and he is bryan....very weird.....
