The Fusion from the earrings is more powerful than the dance.

Even if both fighters were totally equal, eventually the dane fusion would wear off and Vegito would mop the floor with Goku and Vegeta.

Well, Vegito can never go SSJ4, just go "Super Vegito". But if he was able to, I'd say Gogeta. Anyone remember Movie 12? I sure as Hell did. Since goku is the dominant of Gogeta, he'd surely find a plan, especially if SSJ4 Gogeta only had 15 minutes, which is how long they can stay before de-fusing. Sorry folks, my vote's on Gogeta.

Even if they were, Vegito has an unlimited amount of time, whereas Gogetta does not.

yup your right, but since gogeta is a later character its also reasonable he's developed and knows more techniques then vegetto and would also be smarter as well.

Actually, from what I read, it'd 15 minutes. I think it was stated in the DBGT series after the first SSJ4 Gogets fusion wore off. Soul Punisher..I'm not so sure of. In Budokai 3 and Tenkaichi it did rather massive damage, then again, Vegito had that Spirit Sword (can someone say...rip-off?). I think Gogeta has the advantage because he has Big Bang Kamehameha 100X and Vegito only has Big Bang Kamehameha.

haha i can't believe you people took my first post seriously, you guys are silly...ssj4 vegito would surely take it though, portra earings don't fade out after 10 minutes + portra earings are a better way of fusing

The potara is a lot more powerful then the fusion dance. Plus, the dance would wear off in about 5 minutes or so. Vegitto wins.
