I'm trying to make a Mix CD for my friend and I who always go out driving downtown. I need some good cruising tunes.

excellent driving songs, especially Highway Baby, its like driving defined.

Vicarious, Stinkfist, and 46 & 2 by Tool
Anything heavy, brutal and or fast. Btw all this music is what i listen to driving around town with my windows down :)
Now just basic driving music, depends on who's with me or if i'm solo and where i'm going. I like post rock when i'm by myself on long trips

Shut me Up is great driving music. It was pretty much the theme song to my senior year of high school.

And moe, as always, is right. anything by modest mouse.

some great music for like a Saturday or Sunday morning drive is the Gin Blossoms. Hey Jealousy is a particularly famous and good one by them.
