I mean, it's utterly ridiculous, and I've seen it far too many times. I mean, hey, if we're going to have Usopp get rid of the ship, let's have Luffy get a cooler looking hat. And maybe we'll have Zoro trade in his two remaining swords for seastone swords. And hey, Nami's tangerine (forgot the actual fruit) bushes don't make good enough fruit, let's get a new bush.
