wolverine wins. he is immune to boomsticks and chiansaws, and using his mutant power( the ability to flip out and kill people), he could take out gooba and bruce cambel, all at the same time(although since bruce is immortal, he will just come back to life 1 milisecond later and then he and wolverine will go have drinks)

Rez, if you want to know how I would prepare for battle here it is.

I know he can be knocked out by electrocution, large amounts of blunt force trauma, or overall damage if it is bad enough. Also, I know that the best bet of taking him out for good is drowning.

Ok, with my day of prep time I would go out and rent a cement truck and a crane, parking them near the site of the battle. I would find a large abandoned building by a large body of water. I would get a large metal sheet and take it up in the crane beforehand, and put it over the rear enterence to the building. Despite my loathing of guns, this is a battle with Wolverine, so I need every edge I can get. I'd get two Desert Eagle .50 handguns and bring them with me.

Then I would head back to WPI and get into the Mechanical Engineering labs. I would design heavy duty shackles which would contain him, pointing his claws into his chest from the sides so even if he put them out they wouldn't poke out the other side. It would all be solid metal with no chains, so we couldn't be able to move if I can get him into it. Along with this, I would make a solid steel box which would contain him, with some extra room around him. I would make a suit of armor, but that would take too long, so instead I'll head over to the Higgans Armory about 5 minutes from WPI and get one there. I would take off the greaves, and put in enough padding between me and the armor to be safe.

Next step, the EE lab. I'd start by getting a simple remote controlled servos, and making the controller small enough to fit into one of the fingers of the suit of armor, so that I can activate it easily and quickly. I would also get 28 RC spark generators and hook the controls into groups of 4, putting the 7 controllers into the other fingers. In addition to that, I would get all of the most heavy duty caps we have at the lab, some are over 1F, and charge them all to full. Hooking them up to the outside of the suit of armor via a small metal pack I would place on the back. In addition, I would make 10 handheld version which is like a normal taser, but ramped up to a few hundred times more power. These would also be stored inside a pack on my back, in addition to two I would hook up between my index and middle finger on each hand.

Just to make sure all of my bases covered I'd go to the Chem Eng labs, and make up 28 explosives about the size of grenades, hooking them up to the spark generators. Going back to the site of the battle I would plan out a route to have Wolverine chase me through, burying groups of 4 linked explosives around certain choke points I know he would have to follow me through, leading to the back where the crane is ready. I'd put that servo over the release button, so I could remotely operate it. Once all this is in place, I'd be done until the battle itself.

While I may be skilled at martial arts, I know I can't go toe to toe with someone with as many years as Logan. As he came at me I would fire some shots into his gut, just to slow him down some so I could outrun him in my suit. I'd then turn around and run through the building on my predetermined path. As he went over the explosives I would detonate them, hoping to incapacitate him. If any of them connected I would turn around while he healed from it, and taser the crap out of him, keeping him unconcious until long after I got him outside. Just in case none of those do, I'd go outside the rear and stand waiting about 10 feet from the door. As soon as he was about to come out I'd drop the sheet onto him, while shooting at him to distract him. Again, if it connects I'd taser him. Assuming he gets by all that, as soon as he got into melee with me he would be knocked out by making a ground connection with my armor. Now, worst case scenerio I'd bring out my chainsaw hand and go into a straight up fight. The power of the chainsaw able to debilitate him long enough to let me continue with my plan. As he is out, I'd put him into the shackles and then place him inside the metal box. While I did this I would be sure to zap the hell out of his head every 30 seconds or so, just to make sure he didn't wake up. After he is safely inside, I'd bring it over to the cement truck and completely fill it. The cover would go over it while the cement is went, and I'd use the crane to place it into the water as deep as it could go.

Hephaestus made a sword for Zeus which could cut through time and space, and he was able to block it with his forearm and have it bounce right off. This caused Heph to run away crying. During the fight he caused the first double sublimation ever. Zeus animated statues and sent them to fight Frank, and with a single blow he converted it from the solid state directly to plasma.

Now, if using Bruce doesn't count as outside help, he could spend a day in the WPI labs making me a suit far superior to Iron Man's. Bruce could take out Wolverine alone, simply by cutting him into small pieces with his chainsaw hand and blowing those pieces into even smaller ones with the boomstick (yes, they can destroy adamantium).

I think to balance this fight, Gooba needs to be bathed in Red Sunlight for about 100 years and have a chain of Kryptonite strapped around him to limit his combat efficency.

Only then does Wolverine stand a chance.
