What would it be?

Shounen aside, I think the story lacks closure in the fight arcs. Without anyone dying you're always left wondering what happened to them, and this is how those crappy revival arcs happen later on(Tony teh Tiger via Naruto?). I'd rather not see it happen with OP so I just wish for once Luffy would have to finish off the opponent instead of just beating them unconscious.

Lack of closure? We get like 3 episodes of sheer partying at the end of the arc... and Arlong died...

Anyway, the thing I would change about OP is the really strange logistical/conceptual errors that really distract me, such as weapons coming out of nowhere (happens nearly every fight), the Usopp Aaah-ah-ah-ah-ah seemingly coming out of his own intestines, and... yeah.

I want Oda to let some people die. I think it's kinda annoying that almost everyone that you thought was dead is still alive. Especially Wiper, I mean come one 3 reject palms and gods judgement didn't kill him. Same thing with the snake, it gets barbecued yet ends up partying.

One is that the crew should actually help Luffy sometime.

The other one is for him to let people die, I'm glad that some are, but some should just be dead.

I would also change so more good guys died. Some examples are the bird guy in the arabasta arc, the winged girls father and wiper in skypiea arc.
But I can see why they don't die, it's because this is a comedy anime, so they keep out the tragedies.

well it's still pretty lame... multiple characters have great dramatic death scenes that are ruined when they come back pointlessly. it makes future similar scenes less dramatic.
