Even minor characters have some protection against stormtroopers. Remember the ewoks. Stormtroopers killed about what? Two? They don't have nearly as much protection as main characters, but they still have some. Not too mention the more ninjas that are killed the stronger the rest become. Im not taking sides, but ninjas shouldn't be totally counted out yet.

The Stormtroopers take out 999,990 Ninja, but the remaining 10 gain an immense boost that augments their power, while simultaneously creating a "character shield" due to the overwhelming odds they are up against that will protect them from any fatal shots.

It is most likely that at this point, one of the dying Ninja will say "*insert ninja-y name here*, my child, live on forever." Therefore, said ninja, now with a name, will be unable to die, due to the possession of a name.

Especially if said million ninja are all members of the same clan, in which case, only 1 ninja will remain, but will likely unleash some Clan secret technique involving a flaming Phoenix and/or Ice Dragon massive assault to win the fight.
