Question about characters...

I go to a site and it says that Lacus is Scandanavian, Athrun is German, and Mu (Mwu) is French Canadian.

I tell that to someone else but that person doesn't believe me.

What official proof can I give them? Are there any specific episodes it says anything about this?

i believe that there were artbooks that contained info about that... actually most of us never delved into the character's ethnicity... we only know them by their nationalities... like kira and cagalli were orb citizens, Athrun and lacus are Plant citizens, and some of the others are from the United States of South america(fictional state from CE) and United States North America. then several states from Eurasia...
