:P Orihime is not weak. Physically, she's good in karate, as Tatsuki taught her and later said she's @ first level in black belt. Spiritually, she's strong with defense and healing techniques, and emotionally... well, from what's been happening, she's been a pretty tough chick. :x

Hey but the black haired chick can see normal spirits and can also see the outline of hollows, maybe she might get powers in the future. After all, she has also been influenced by Ichigo's spirtual powers and furthermore, she has been featured too much in the opening theme to be jus a useless character.

Yea it kinda seems that now they all somehow have inner powers. Orihime has it from those two hair pins that she got from her brother and now so does Chad. Chad had that weird arm weapon from his grandfather not sure how he actually got that but I guess it's because he starts remmebering his grandfather. That black haired girl so seems to be able to slightly see the hollows but thats how Chad used to be. If I'm not mistaken tho I thought Chad was able to fully see them later...maybe I'm wrong. Wonder what else is to come...

so i guess people that already have a little spirit power and hang around ichigo get some other stuff from just being around himI have no idea where you got that from but I believe in that later in the episode Sandal Guy explains to them how they were able to release their powers. Perhaps you have forgotten it so I will tell you what he says. He says to them that they already had the power sealed in them but Ichigo just released it or something to that effect.

Ppl who got in contact with ichigo's shinigami form get spirit power of him. Just remember the eps where chad, inoue,... get attacked by hollows and got in contact with his shinigami form.

I wouldn't count on it. The training arc is after episode 14 so those who have powers in this arc are going to be training in the next one. If you want to ponder something then think about this, Ichigo had powers before he became a Death God, just not developed as much as the other Quincy. You could say that he is both Quincy and Death God, except that he uses his own energy instead of outside.

I'm not sure but don't Chad and the girl use energy from inside them, wouldn't they also be living Death Gods or Quincy? It would be cool to find out. They don't describe how Chad and the girl use their powers like the Quincy and Ichigo so you would have to deduce it from the few clues in the manga or anime.

I didn't like the episode that much, it felt rushed to me. They fit all that into what? Half an episode? Same with episode 12. Bah. . I was expecting at least one whole episode for them getting their powers.
