Would it be possible for members to be bound to a limited amount of threads they can start in a limited amount of time?!

I mean I see some members here whom have the IQ of a …erm moving on… and they keep popping out with these unbearable threads to read, which they don't put much thought into O_o I mean all kind of threads that starts with one or two lines they managed to squeeze out of their brain cells or worst duplicated threads, and by doing so insightful well written threads tend to be pushed down therefore no one sees them or reply on them. Is this fair?? Shouldn't everyone here be limited to a reasonable threads number they can start once every three or four days so that we can read the good and the bad all together, at least this way the good ones will keep lasting. And if you're going to say that a good thread will last and get more viewers either way, then allow me to tell you that we all have this thirst to reply in these stupid threads to make a mockery out of the starter hence the stupid thread keeps hanging around for eternity ><

And yeah I read "Thread Creation" thread here posted by DeepThought where he asks for a thread starter to require a postcount over 20 posts to be able to make threads. Well even if any member here have a post count of 1, 20 or even a 1000, he/she can still make insightful or stupid threads. So it doesn’t matter what post count they have, what matters is the limited threads amount they can make each time, so that everytime they think of making one they'll try and put a little bit of well measured thoughts init.

The moral of the story is: hell, if a supposedly stupid thread is more popular than a supposedly smart thread then it is not the fault of the starter, it is the masses who you should be mad at.

I agree with Shogun, some members still post a lot in worthless threads, normal intelligent members shouldn't be punished because of the others abusing it, what we need to do something about is the people who post in those threads. :notrust

aah I see, well if the masses are idiots that do not mind text which can insult the intelligence of some one with an IQ of 2, i do not see a problem.

Horrible idea

If I'm feeling active I could easliy make up to 10 threads per day esp regarding the numerous different sections within the forum. A small percentage of idiots should not be used to punish other posters who wish to share there views

If anyone should be banned it should be the people aruging over whether Hinata and Sakura are better, anyone started a thread that has anything to do with that subject should be banned.

Nothing's worse than a fanboy.

Or the ones arguing over who's Ichigo going to end with Orihime or Rukia @__@ I've seen enough of these threads in every forum that will make me sick if I see another one.

Is that Bleach stuff, I know nothing about Bleach, I plan to watch it someday...

I don't know why people argue this stuff when it has no baring on plot.

They're usually "reply'd-only" first. In other words they aren't able to create new threads. We usually use that method first, for those people who make a sick amount of threads in a short amount of time or continuously make idiotic threads

I agree completely with that measure (over 20 posts ).Noobs shouln't be able to make threads. 99.9% of those threads are trash material.

I disagree. The positives may have the advatange but it has its cons. Think what if you are new to forums, and don't know how to PM? Than you make a few threads with intro and question answering and than get some questions answered and than you are closed out from posting. Than you are stuck with an issue, and will likely leave the forum.

If an issue with threads happens, they'll be banned and/or reply only'd like Samatarou said above me.
