Why is it called Bleach?

This has been nawing at me for awhile... I watch the series and enjoy it, but the name still confuses the hell out of me. Why is it called Bleach?

i remember a long explanation a long time ago.

1. ichigo has orange hair, sort of like it was bleached
2. bleach cleans, but it destroys when it cleans, like shinigami
3. hollows and quincy wear white, but shinigami wear black, like they are the truly evil ones.

Mangakas who can only speak engrish at best, just name their Manga's with what they think sounds cool in english...

I reckon Kubo just thought about Ichigo's hair colour and thought "Bleach!".

Then liked the name, because it sounded "cool".

I had always assumed that the title came from the "bleached" look of Ichigo's hair, despite it being his natural hair color.

The early issues of the manga make a note (joke) of this oddity.

Kubo named it after his favorite album. Haven't you seen that his manga and characters are very music based? There are themsongs for characters and the chapter titles are often named after songs and albums.
