Yo can i join up?! Im a big fan of Eureka 7 I Used to watch the dub on Adult swim but i hate staying in on sat. A friend of mine managed to grab me a complete set of the DVDs while he was in HK so im working my way through those now im on episode 13 i think... but renton x eureka 4 life. Eureka gave up being a coralian to save the planet (she merged or whatever with the crust)- Renton (for her) gave up being a human- .. they still live on the planet .. in a forest of some sort ... but they arent coralian and human ,,, they're something different (hence the shining lights red+blue) ---- I think they're on their honeymoon :) :headscrat ... or maybe spending time alone with each other. :wOOt :knk :dance :whoo

Thats cool, at first i was confused and afraid that they had pulled somthing gay like at the end of the FMA anime but w/e as long as they are together it makes the ending ok, episode 49 pissed me off right at the end....

As for the manga I got ahold of the first three volumes and the 4th raw thanks the the E7 fc and i have to say that is is VERY good. The story is a little different from the anime but it has a more grown up feel to it.

aparently you can buy Vol. 1 in the US, i actualy accidently bought it when i thought i was buying a dvd set... witch turned out to be a soundtrack the manga the first 5 episodes and a Tshirt.... Also as it turns out Large is the size they put in the box 0.o Doesnt work out for me!

Im off to work i wont be able to post till after 5 or so whenever my boss leaves.. Rock the 2nd shift =)

I guess this would be a summary of the differences so far.
First off Holland smokes check out my avitar dealy yea it fits him way better. 2nd the way Eureka / renton fall in love is different it happens alot quicker and from the start of the manga Eureka seems to.... i guess be less quiet? to me it seemed in the anime she hardly ever spoke at all untill just before renton ran off. I dont realy want to describe exactly what happens cuz that would ruin it for you if you ever wanted to read it... but also the story is twisted a little bit. The way the government oporates is different and dewey rises to power much faster. He still wants to kill the coralians but the way witch they do it is different. Apparently the amita drive is crucial to their plan and they try to steal it from Gekko to use in Type TheEnd. Anemone Is drawn to look exactly like Eureka exept with long hair basicaly and she is WAY crazyer in the manga her and Domonic play a much larger role in the manga, and aparently she can hone in on Eureka's presence through some unexplained means. Also in the manga everyon is basicaly constantly hurt, specially holland, they are almoast always under some kind of attack. They never go to that research facility to fix nirivash<--- who gets FUCKED UP by the end cuz renton was acting all emo and doesnt drive it with Eureka who then gets all messed up and has some mental anti trust/love complex going on its kina crazy but of corse it will work itself out. Also Adrock Thurston was killed by Dewey and then put forth to the public as a hero to cover up his death. He was Dewey and Hollands teacher basicaly, after renton hears that is when he gets all sadd and shit and hurts Eureka's feelings. So back to nirivash getting fixed Renton's grandpa comes to gekko to fix it and thats when renton himself makes the upgrades to nirivash. Also you find out that Gidget is 15?!?! kinda always thought she was older then that... And most of the stuff that happens in the anime that doesnt realy add to the story gets cut out, like the episode were renton and them get arrested by his uncle. OHHH and renton is able to drive nirivash from the very start of the manga basicaly...


Thats all i can think of right now.... but um.. its all jumbled up and in no real order and i dont think i followed anything you could consider as grammar..... so umm you will prolly be more confused about the manga after you read what i wrote...... ied just suggest reading the manga.

As for the Eureka <3 Renton Pic I havent been able to find it... and i cant screenshot it off my dvds cuz the text isnt translated... so unless you have a translated version of the pic i guess were sol on that end. I have a couple ideas i want to toy around with if i can get a decent progam and figure out the glif things, well see what i can turn up =) Ive been doing some fanart scetches as well, ied realy like to do a fanfiction thing too! The pics look rad im gona have some fun with them this weekend, i wont have time time to play around with it tho untill sunday prolly.... As far as the 4th volume being trans... i duno i think its been out since may and still hasnt been done. I cant seem to find any more info about it, I think it is a monthly thing only doing one chapter a month and each volume is 3-4 chapters i think... all i could find was that it runs in Shonen Ace. Ookami I hope you enjoy the last few episodes they are great stuff =) One of the best parts of the Renton x Eureka relationship i think is how they seem to Re Fall in Love every couple of eps =) Soory it took me so long to get back to you guys, today hit me like a punch in the face so i actualy had to do some work at work 0.o.

uhhhhg I just got home from LA im gona mess aournd with that stuff tomorow, im still trying to get my hands photoshop..... Oh also on the topic of the anime, i was thinking about the people with desperation disease. How after scab got blowed up they all came back and insted holding the compac drives they had books, im thinking that maybe those people were people who were at scab? i duno..... also they then got rocked by meteors... kinda sad.

It is out but there arnt any groups translating it currently. Nanashi was doing the subs for the anime and i think they were doing the manga as well but i heard that they no longer have the staff for it or they droped it alltogether. So unless a different group picks it up we will have to wait untill somtime next year when it gets released in the US.

So Saurus, I have a problem... I know you have heard this a lot, but I need a fix man. Finished Eureka 7 like a week or two ago and nothing seems as bright anymore. Food has lost its taste, colors are duller and everyday I wake up crying that I have no more Eureka 7 to watch...

What do I do next? How do I go on? I need some anime just as a temporary fix. I've watched all the major ones, ie: Full Metal Alchemist, Cowboy Bebop, Naruto (that goes without saying), Escaflowne, and a couple here and there that I can't think of. Is there anything else? Someone suggested Death Note, never heard of it but I am going to take a look into it...

Death Note Sucks .. One piece sucks ... sorry man the only solution i got to this common problem (called -EurekaSevenownstoomuch-Syndrome or E7pawnedmyheart-itis) was: just keep watching the main episodes (26/32/50) over and over again .. especially the last where Renton kisses Eureka .... download the songs and listen to them when ur not infront of ur comp ... so ur brain finally realises that no mortal is the master of Eureka 7, u will understand that the anime ended gracefully and honourably and the only thing u can do is be happy filled with joy, and honour the anime (by reading the manga-listenning to the music- and watching those key episodes) again and again ... :/

When I try to click on the links for the english dub Eureka, it says that they are a private file and I have to be invited to watch them. Can someone make them public? If not thats fine... Not sure if I want to see the dub. If I start and anime in English (like I did with Cowboy Bebop), I don't want to hear the japanese version and vice versa. So hearing the english may just weird me out. Plus, how do they pronounce "Eureka" in the dub? I am curious to know that.

There is an Eureka Seven GAME coming out on PS2, in american ,, called something like, Eureka Seven Vol1: A New Wave, which a completly different story ,,, situated before Renton Eureka, about the Military, Reffing (lots of Reffin) and maybe (dunno about this) the Gekko State, - game coming out in Fall,

There is another Eureka Seven game, based on the series, coming out only for PSP ... .dunno much more than that ......
