Czarnian's weren't immortal, they had regenerative abilities but were not immortal like Lobo is. Lobo is immortal because he died once and he ruined heaven and limbo and then went to hell and had fun there. Thus they kicked him out and death won't accept him.

Czarnian are immortal in the sense that they can live as long as they want not being hindered by age at all.

But the Czarnian race is not invincible. Despite their regen powers they can die. (Proven by Lobo himself).

Lobo is different. He was kicked out of Haven and Hell twice (1 in the on going Series, and another in a Mini Series).


Lobo can heal himself from bones, or a toe nail.
He is also more imortal (and maybe older) then Alucard.
He has Superman like strength.
And is vary, vary smart when it comes tearing things apart.

Well keep in mind that Lobo is meant to be a rediculous character with feats that defy logic so that kinda makes him vary strong.

Lobo was originally DC's parody to Wolverine and then people liked Lobo and DC decided to keep him around.

The reason Darkseid isn't dead yet is because A lot of people like him and he happens to be DC's best villain.

Of course the versions in the TV shows, like all the characters (except AMAZO) are way weaker than in the comics.
