I absolute love Desperate Housewives, I think it's one of the best things on tv currently. My favourite characters are Mike and Gabrielle (Eva Longeria is just the msot gorgoues women in the world) with Marcia Cross coming closely seond.:love

Season 5 started recently but I haven't been able to watch it. Unfortunate that, since I've been dying to ever since seeing the 5 years in the future segment at the end of last seasons finale. The part with Susan managed to get an audible 'What the fuck?' out of me.

I recently picked up this series again, I still think it is fairly entertaining, just quite a bit...crazier with all the secrets and such being tossed around. Finished watching today's episode and I rather like what Bree and Orson have going on, what a difference from how things were so long ago between them. Will be watching the next episode and expecting this thread to still be dead. :P

Watched the new episode today. Fun as always. I like the ongoing stuff between Ms. Hildebrand and Gaby with Carlos. :P There's something I like about each of the ladies, and from Lynette it was how she still went back to help Anne. And the ending sure was something with that fire. It was interesting how Dave was so willing to risk his life to save everyone despite how he killed someone who was pretty much trying to look out for him. Curious to see what he has planned for Mike.

I only watched the first season, and the suspense and dark humour are really, really good. Couldn't find time to continue the series, but judging by some of the comments above, the other seasons don't seem to measure up to the first. But I think I will give season 2 a shot when I've got time.

So I finally watched the last episode of the fifth season. The idea of Bree and Karl entertains me so much. It is like Bree, having gone through two relationships with two messed up guys who seemed perfect and normal, now wants to get into something with someone she already knows is screwed up.

By the way, have you all seen the promotional poster for season 6 (http://superlaneandkentnews.blogspot.com/2009/08/desperate-housewives-season-6-hq.html)? I love it. xD Figured I should post in this thread as perhaps some sort of reminder that season 6 starts in a little over a week. Woot.

I'm grow more and more interested in what Bree will do and yet again something Orson said managed to make Bree rethink something about Karl. The whole thing about Lynette trying to hide her pregnancy and increase in breast size was great. I especially like when her husband got all druink. xD

Wow, Susan actually shot Katherine, I know it was an accident but still, that sure was something. I love that Orsen gave Bree the run to unload. xD My favorite part was probably the bit with the repairman and Tom. It turned from entertaining to very sweet.
