Actually, that is the most ignorant thing you can do, teaching Mewtwo Hyper Beam, only nubs do this.

personally I would say mewtwo but my thought on this grows stronger when I look at the power differences between the two....

It was both. Along with a number of other powers.

And if the Prof does attack with his power, there's always the option of lightscreen/reflect/barrier/whichever shield that protects from special (psychic) attacks.

if Mageneto's helmet can do it, I'm quite sure a barrier meant to stop such attacks will.

Prof. X can go toe-to-toe with Phoenix and consider to be the person with the strongest telepath in MU. I'm sure that prof. X can beat Mewtwo in telepath battle.

Hyper beam is a all-around crap move. and not fit for Mewtwo.

My Mewtwo moves were, Fireblast, Thunder, Blizzard and recover.

My other Mewtwo was Fireblast,Thunder, swift and recover.

I used swift to catch flyers and diggers.

You're better off with psychic, 90 base, ontop of Mewtwo's plus a STAB = Much win. Especially with his speed.
