To make things more exiting, Akuma is in shin akuma version and the fight is in hell, which means scorpions power will never stop increasing.

In all seriousness, Shin Akuma is no real slouch to take on. I don't think that Scorpion can pull off feats on par with Akuma. . .

Then again, I'm not taht well-versed in the MK story. One of the few fighting games I rarely play.

I'll tell you a bit about scorpion. When he is in hell, his power just keeps going up rapidly and is almost impossible to kill. Thats why i picked hell to be the battlefield, because Shin Akuma is not to be taken lightly.

Would he be able to mimic Akuma's feats, which include

-sinking his island with one punch (SFA2 Ryu's Ending)
-splitting Ayer's Rock (SF3SI Akuma's ending)
-surviving deep in the ocean, withstanding extreme pressure for quite an amount of time (SF3TS Akuma's ending)
-cuts a naval ship in half (SF3TS Akuma's ending)

Note, this is regular Akuma as of TS.

This battle is difficult to truly gauge because of the setting the thread creator imposed. Akuma is just a beast and CBG clearly proved by stating his insane feats and if this was in a neutral setting, then Akuma would win against Scorpion. However, the problem lies that this fight takes place in hell, which is Scorpion's normal habitat and where his true power and keeps increasing. Also, he is a spectre and no matter how many times you kill him, he keeps coming back.

For the fight, I see Akuma dominating the fight at first and killing Scorpion bunch of times, but then at the end, I see Scorpion as too much of a relentless foe for Akuma to match and with his ever-increasing powers from hell, I see Scorpion matching up to Akuma or overpowering him, thus I pick Scorpion to win this tought and brutal fight between two badasses of their respective franchises.
