Bellie - Dollars conversion rate

what is the relative conversion rate of bellies to dollars? So i can put 100 million bellie into perspective...is it like 100 million dollars or like 5 dollars...or maybe 100 billion dollars:S...difficult to understand prices without knowing...:huh

Yeah, 100 beli = $1 sounds right. Arlong collected 100,000 beli from each adult and 50,000 beli from each child. Saying it's 1,000 and 500 sounds about right. He collected 20,000,000 beli on the first day, $200,000. And he asked Nami for 100,000,000 beli, which would be about 1 million bucks. The numbers seem to make sense.

50 cent for us only enough to buy can of soda. But 50 cent in one piece might worth a lot more. We have to remember one piece basically set in the past. So pricing might have been different than today.
