Lets take a look at thse two boys...


If in some way, trough a wierd space/time/dimensional paradox these two were to meet, they would be BEST FRIENDS...

At leats, thats what I think..


They both have a goal thats very important to them.
They both are in general good persons and will help those UNABLE to stand up for them selves(I capsed UNABLE because Naru and Luffy both think that youshould stand up for yourself, im talking about women and children and stuff here.

Friendship is to them bot VERY important, touch either of their friends and they would travel to the end of the worls to kill you.

And.....they are both retarded:P

I mean c'monn....Naruto doesnt see the difference betwen fake lee and gai, and the real one, and luffy thinks Sogeking is someone else(At least what I saw).

But, what do you guys think?

Would they get along? Or would they bash eachothers skull in?

I'm not sure. Luffy may find no interest in Naruto. He might get angry when he see's Naruto is better drawn, and that could start something. ^_^;

Also, Luffy is the start of one of the greatest shows ever, and has CONTINUED to be like that. but Naruto, that show has sucked donkey balls and is by far one of the worst anime i've ever seen after episode 150+ (whenever fillers started). (i can say this since i've seen a limited number of Anime, and i only watch good Anime :D )

All anime has a 3 year curve. If someone says that they are 12, they are 15, if someone says they are 15, they are 18 and if someone says that they are 17 they are 20. The only exception to this rule is in places where the protagonist is more than 23 years old, and a few rare exceptions.

TAke for example Tenjou Tenge, Bob is supposedly 15 years old but he has a live in WIFE and regularly pounds the fuck out of her. An 18 year old highschool dropout sounds more appropriate in this context.

Naruto being 18 now, makes much more sense than hhim being 15, just like all the I love you angst of sakura makes much more sense from a moody 15 year old rather than a freaking hormonally supercharged 12 year old.

Ichigo isn't actually all that tall. He's only 5'7" to 5'8". Which isn't bad for a Japanese 15-year-old, to be certain, but he's not a giant.

Ichigo looks huge because we see him around much shorter characters a lot.

Luffy is actually right about on target for being 17, but that doesn'y mean that the 3 year curve is not applicable. Its just less applicable to one piece than it is to say, naruto. He still works as a 20 year old, better in fact because he is more physcially and intuitively commesurate to the standards that are set for him. There is also the fact that the anime from the start made him much more angular and broad shouldered than the Manga version, making him seem older to anime fans than manga followers. Recently however his design has caught up more in the mangaa to its anime counterpart.

This is just an opinion, but I do like Luffy better. Yeah, he's stereotypically stupid/a bottomless pit, but he does get MUCH more badass than Naruto. Also, while Naruto frankly seems like he'd be a horrible Hokage, Luffy does sometimes show that he'd be a noteworthy Pirate King - he takes care of his nakama, he actually does pirating, Gum Gum Pistol for Great Justice, etc. And Luffy has fewer 'gimmicks' - he's made of rubber, and all his attacks and techniques stem from that; Naruto can clone himself and throw kunai and blah blah blah but his fights? are still BORING. Sorry, Kishimoto. I love Lee's fights, but I usually skip through Naruto's. I watch all of Luffy's though.

I think Luffy is smarter than he lets on. All of his decisions which seem completely crazy and stupid, usually turn out to be the right ones. He's more of a brawler as a fighter than Naruto, who is capable of suprising strategy. But I think in how he deals with the people around him, he always seems to know exactly what to say.

Naruto really isn't a leader yet. But Luffy is pretty much the unquestioned captain of a powerful crew. Who else could captain people as difficult as Sanji and Zoro in one breath, and then amaze Robin and Nami in the other. He even gets the best out of Usop and Chopper.

Luffy doesn't have powerups. And Gears aren't powerups, because they are just like all of his other techniques, only using them in a different way.
