2 Devil Fruits..

This question has been bugging me for a while.. I don't read the Manga, nor am I up to date with the Anime yet.. Maybe you guys will know..

What would happen if someone ate 1 Devil Fruit.. Then another.. Does that person get the power of both of the Devil Fruits? Or does the 2nd one cancel the 1st one out?.. >_>

Oda said that the scond fruit would replace the first one but in the manga it's stated different, blueno says that grand line scientist dicovered that if you ate 2 your body would explode without leaving a trace

A person that eats two DFs would explode and die. Seriously.
The two DFs cancel eachother out making the person normal before his or her death.

no kidding...and why stop at 2? If multiple Devil Fruits could be eaten, there would be people eating 4 or 5...

and if one did cancel the other one out, and they did not die..I could see people eating devil fruits until they found one that was extremely strong even without too much training...a logia type probably.

That question is unanswerable, because we have never seen a duplicate fruit, or even two users of the same fruit in history yet.

One is led to believe either there is one of each fruit, or one of each fruit at any given time... as in if Luffy died, a rubber fruit would appear again.

If we ever see a duplicate fruit or other person with a duplicate power already in use, then we can begin to speculate on this question.
