Why wasn't it? I'd like to see how you view it and see where you are coming from.

Honestly, I thought it was great and a good sequel of the first. The first Clerks only appealed to a few and than Clerks 2 was created for more people to see it nd understand the lives of there thirty year olds working at a fast-food resturant and how they are getting there lives turned around.

Sorry if I confused anyone I was talking about the first Clerks. The first one wasn't lol funny nor did I think it was particularly smart humor. I was just a well directed movie, but not really all that funny.

The first one wasnt meant to be funny,it was ment to be like a David Lynch movie.but I as well as manay others find it very funny!

and Olaf's song Berserker was awsome! ^^

Haha yea that part was pretty funny, and Kevin Smith did mean it to be funny. I mean not Adam Sandler movie funny, but still it was meant to have humorous elements.

If we're talking about clerks 1, then I found it bordering on the edge of stupity and comedy genius. But that's just me.

the 1st clerks was very popular when it first came out (so much that when mallrats came out, every1 felt let down b/c they thought mallrats sucked compared to clerks)
the 2nd clerks got a 7 minute standing ovation when it was shown at the watever-u-call-it festival (where critics get to see a screening)

Well, if you have ever worked small business, it's a good one.
It's also not the usual plot you find in most hollywood films.
