Common is a rapper from chicago illinois, and is one of my favorites. i just sent out 4 of his 6 albums to the pimp list. once you hear this guy and the depth of his lyrics, you'll fall in love with him. common has a laid back style in his flow, and lyrics to match. his songs cover topics that arent normally touched on in hip hop (god, evolution of hip hop, real people, abortion, fatherhood, growing up) and the way that he presents them really stays with you afterwards and you will constantly be tapping your foot.

From what I've heard, I like Common. Even if it was only for i used to love HER. In fact Like water for Chocolate is one of me favorite hiphop albums.

Common is great. I saw him perform a couple of months ago with Jean Grae and The Roots. I don't have a favourite Common album but I love "Resurrection", "Like Water for Chocolate", and "Be".

I've only heard BE from him & like it, I plan on getting some more of him real soon.The first CD i'll check out is resurrection. Common is good.

Yes somebody agrees with me!!!The intro is the best i've heard in my life & i do mean that.Sometimes i can't even continue with the album, because the intro is constantly on repeat.

be is prolly my favorite song besides the food offa "be" yeah, the intro defies explanation... just listen to it!

yeah go is a good song.

Sixth sense is also good well hes got loads of good songs.

all of pop's raps at the end of all the albums are quite good spoken word stuff... as for any of the albums, id say his best songs are: i used to love H.E.R. , retrospect for life, the light, the food, come close, love of my life, resurrection, and the corner
