If some one eat the water fruit(if there is one),will he still have the ability to swim?

Doubt it, they'd probably be able to control and become water, though. There's a similar fruit to this in a movie, and I wondered what the point of it was.

Not at all, they can only control it. They can become it, but that's only when someone tries to hit them, or when they turn an arm or something into water to attack with. The only possible way they could swim would be to turn themselves fully into the water and enter the sea, but that wouldn't work since the sea would negate the power and turn them back, and then they'd sink.

Not quite, Luffy was still able to stretch when underwater, just that Genzo and Nojiko had to stretch him.

my guess is he would be able to survive survive underwater, but he wouldn't be able to move. since sea water seems not to negate a devil's fruit power, but make the user uncapable to move like a deadweight, i think when he went underwater (if completely turned into water) he would be trapped there, but since he's water, he would be able to survive there. it would kinda be like a prison.

I think that the one who eats it would be much like croc, only then made from water.

BUT when dropped into the sea he WILL sink but NOT DIE becuase he IS water.

But in anycase, if I were a mizu-mizu user and someone would drop me in the ocean, I would just create something similar to the knock up stream to blast me out of the water just in case.(only then not as massive ofc)

i think the mizu fruit user is screwed if they fall into the sea. they just... become sea is what i think, cause they couldn't use their power to un-water themselves

Yeah, I kinda agree with the posters who said that the sea would become their prison. It's an awesome idea, IMO, and would be a great way to defeat the user of said fruit. Of course the people predicted it here already and it would be a bit unsurprising if it happened in the manga, but it's still cool. XD
