Maybe you've seen the commercial for the dorridos chips with godzilla in it. When I saw it I thaught it was godzilla 2. But unfortunately, no. What's up? Are they working on it? It's been a long time sience the american Godzilla came out. :huh I'm really hoping that there's a sequal, but I need you input.

Well i'v heard rumours over the years that there was one being planned. It was going to be set in the future or something. I do hope there is a 2nd =)

Yeah i'm one of the only few who liked american godzilla, to see another oen would be cool.

Same here. The ending pissed me off if they aren't going to make another one. I'm not a fan of cliff hangers :notrust.

I'm not to interested in seeing another zilla movie. A another Godzilla movie maybe, but there won't be another one of those for atleast five years.

kinda hard to make a sequel when the main character clearly DIES in the first movie.

Yeah but the ending of the it rally geared it up for a sequeal... i thought the first one was great and i wouldnt mind a sequeal :oh

Well the real Godzilla has died on more than one occasion so it wouldn't be that hard to do. And Zilla has made an appearance in a real Godzilla movie once so there's more than one.

Thats cause it aint "Godzilla". The American movie took the "God" out of "Godzilla". Which is why they named him Zilla in this movie.

For one, Toho hated it. The director basically ignored their conditions(Why they let Hollywood make it), the public hated it and it wasn't a huge success money wise(Cost too much to make)

Personally, I dug it. 6/10.

I heard originally (close to the first movie's release), that it was going to be a trilogy.

With that new commercial everywhere, it's hard to imagine why they would bring him back, unless another movie is coming out.

Who knows?

They're actually remaking Godzilla with Zaraki Kenpachi as Godzilla.
He won't be needing a costume, they're just using special effects to make him taller. And not by much.
