Ideas to make One Piece "better"

first of all please dont flame me for this thread, im just putting out ideas here. obviously, luffy is the "main" character, and that zoro and sanji is the "supporting" cast. and as the main character, luffy gets to fight against all the "main" villain in a particular story arc. but dont u think its a good idea to have someone OTHER than luffy have the "main" fight once in a while. zoro and sanji can definately hold his own. i would like to see sanji or zoro to each ahve thier own "main" battle. and what i mean by this is that either zoro or sanji to fight the "strongest" villain in a particular arc. BTW, im only at episode 150, so this is just what i can come up with. your ideas???:huh

Zoro and Mihawk ring a bell? Not all the time needs to be Luffy, however he is the main "main" character, so obviously it goes to him at the end. But to make it better?? damn man that's hard. each arc is better and better. this last one is by far the greatest.

To 150??? Ur a bit behind. it's on episode 271 with 7 movies and 4 specials. and if ur really a fan, the Ova.

Ill leave it up to Oda to make One Piece better. One piece is great as it is now (In my top 5 and Ive watched a lot of anime) and the only way it could be improved is if the release 4 chapters a week so that I wont have to wait so long.

The only thing I would change with One Piece is the rule of no major character's death. For example, Pell and Bon Clay should have died.

it's nearly perfect, except fer one reality. the crew can't win every battle, they're gonna get pwned by another group sometime. i wanna see how that werks out.

Well I'd have to agree with the topic creator. I'd probably enjoy it a lot more if Luffy wasn't wasn't always the one to defeat the main villain, or at least the portrayed as "strongest" villain all the time.

The only relationship Luffy and Montblanc share is that they met each other briefly for a few hours, then so did the rest of the crew. Though it at least focus on the entire crew for the most part, one thing I dislike about some mangas, is if it's too character centered, and mainly revolving around the main character. If it's a charqacter I like, then it's fine (thogh still not as enjoyable if that wasn't the case), but if it's one I don't like, then it'd probably lessen the enjoyability quite a bit.

Some characters just seem unused and some fights just seem odd, too. Maybe it's because I read everything as fast as I could and missed something, but a large portion of the fights don't really manage to make my inner fangirl squeal. :-(

Yeah, the art has gotten a lot better, IMO. Oda even manages to make Sanji look attractive, something I wouldn't have ever dreamed of when I first started reading OP because the art was just so weird.

in the old Mangas Oda didnt used alot Screentone or crosshatching

but i wanna see zoro with a seastone sword or the like so he can take on elemental devil fruit users (although he only wants to be the strongest "swordsmen" ever) i can see him take on crocodile if he simply dips his sword in water or sum other liquid but he got owned by enel and i dont think he has a chance againt smoker, ace or akaoji

Personally, I love OP the way it is, but one thing that I hope happens is that, other than Zoro and Mihawk, one of the other of the straw hats will take down a shichibukai other than Luffy(I have a feeling that Kuma might be taken down by either Franky or Chopper, but probably not).
Other than some of the other stuff said, there's not much else that would improve this, One Piece is totally perfect.

I love One Piece, but i would like to see the aspect of death aply to matters outside of flash backs. I know it might change the mood of the series, but i feel it is needed at times for those dramatic times to feel.... well, dramatic. After an emotional battle/moment when an charcter apears dead (Pell) then for them to just come back, IMO just kills that moment. A Death plays a great deal on bringing emotion about in scenes, and it makes you really connect to the anime on a whole new level.

BTW, i too wanted zoro to get is hands on some seastone swords. maybe he'll finds some at I.D and steal them.
