How many more arcs do you think One Piece will have. They still have a lot of story to resolve and each arc is pretty long. Do you have a problem with the series going on for too long as long as the quality in the story is consistent?

Why would I? One Piece has been amazing because it gets better and better. If it's long but still good, I wouldn't care.

There'll probably be about 4 or 5 more long arcs, I think. Or fewer.

Of course that was when they were in Alabasta, and later Skipea, and later the Foxy fight thing, and now the Water 7 one who is by far the largest. and they haven't reached half the grand line where Jinbei of the MerMans lives.

since one piece is consistantly good, i have no problem of it being so obscenely long. other series that are good but aren't as consistantly good (cough cough naruto) should take less time to tell their stories.

Add to that Dragon and Luffy's family history. Just thinking about all of those makes it seem like there will easily be (hopefullY) 300 episodes more...(IMO)

I actually think we're only half way through the series, which I'm cool with. What Arc I really want to see next is Blackbeard, I want to know what they are all about.

I never get tired of luffy dishing out punishment so I dont want it to end anytime soon. My best estimate is at 150 more episodes of one piece. When its complete it will be one hell of a batch file.

I think it'll be a loooong time yet. As people have listed, theres a fuckload of plot threads and characters that need finalising. And Oda's adding more and more as time goes on, too.

Happily OP is getting better and better with time, so I dont mind how long it takes!

We still need to see more of Shank's crew, Aokiji, Blackbread's crew, and Whitebread's crew considering their major roles. Not to mention we still need our musician! (hopes for a merman. STRAW HAT CREW NEEDS A MERMAN!)

O: I've answered this in some magazines and interviews. Originally, my plan was that One Piece would continue for five years. I've always had the climax in my head from the start, I've just been working toward it since. But my original estimates were a bit short, and I was unable to finish up my story within five years (ROFL). And now our pirates have been adventuring for nine years, and I have no idea how much longer they will be at it (hey!).
