chidori vs rasengan

i donno whther this topic has been asked or not b4 this....but i'll stiill wanna know which of this two, rasengan n chidori is much more powerful??

This topic has been brought up manii times b4 and it is the general consensus that they have 2 different kind of uses and it cannot be said that wun is more powerful than the other...

Depends. What did you mean by 'which is stronger'? For what purpose? Your question has too many unknowns, such as in what situation is it being used for. Ok, let's just assume you meant slamming them together and seeing which one would win. That would again depend on the user. How powerful are each of the users? A jutsu is only as powerful as it's user can make it. Also, did you take into account the upgraded versions, namely the Chidori Nagashi & the Odama Rasengan? As such, if anyone thought about the question, then they should be able to determine the answer, which is: There is none, because the question is too vague. Please refine it so that we can see in what circumstances you meant.

I personally think that the Chidori is just a little bit stronger than the rasengan because when Naruto ans Sasuke fought in 133 they both charged at eachother, and Sasuke beat Naruto.... But that was probably just because he was stronger..... But still....

That had nothing to do with it. Both jutsus cancelled each other out and Sasuke PUNCHED Naruto in the stomach while Naruto scratched Sasuke's Forehead Protector. Naruto lost the physical battle, but he won the moral battle. IN the case of Sasuke VS Naruto, both using their jutsus, if anything, that encounter proved they were equal strength jutsus... Jeez, I'm really wondering whether people acutally pay attention to what happens 'underneath the underneath'...

Both cancel each other out it has been seen countless times during the Sasuke and Naruto battle. Strength wise I would say both are roughly the same but Rasengan seems to have more uses imo
