After Luffy becomes King of the Pirates...

Do you think the manga or anime will forget about that whale Luffy promised to beat up after he became king of the pirates? Will we finally find out the end to all the other subplots before or after he becomes king of the pirates?

Oda is the master of fanservice. Now, providing that he even continues the series after Luffy becomes the Pirate King, he will do it. But, this is my prediction:

Manga: One chapter will be dedicated to Luffy revisiting all of the people he met over his adventure.

Anime: Same as above, only that the episode itself will be short, and it will show Luffy doing the same things, but with music like Family in the background.

Still he has alot of subplots that most of us have forgotten about. I mean what about Buggy, Kuro, Arlong and that Marine Axe guy? They all want Luffy's head! When is Dragon going tp show back up?

At first, I didn't really think about that, but it does seem reasonable. Plus, afterwards, they're probably going to remark on what his life is like afterwards(kids and such), and then that'll be it.

i kinda get the feeling that after he becomes pirate king, he will discover the truth about the world, and sacrifice himself to destroy the evil or watever, and just leave his crew to spread his legacy. dno why, but i just kinda like those endings.

i don't think he'll visit everyone, but i'm sure he'll visit laboon again.

however, oda will tie up everything in some way or another before he becomes pirate king.

i doubt luffy will die, he needs to be different than roger

I hope that someday they visit Vivi again, and then they just show her their X marks.
