Are you serious? I know of 2 alucards, but noone of them can dream of being as cool as Snake (the castlevania one in near tough) it's a matter of taste I guess

No matter how you look at it, the copy got over the original :P
Altough Big Boss is FUCKING IMPRESSIVE (note I love Big Boss too, he's the original after all)
Solid Snake beated him twice with half less of the experience the former Snake had, and even tough Big Boss was old at this time, Snake had to infiltrate two fortified countries on his own beore each battle.

The only reason Solid Snake beat Big Boss was because of Deus Ex Machina.
The point is, Big Boss survived in the jungle by killing what ever he found, could control hornets, ate an old man's parrot and had better outfits.

It's not fair to higlight one's feats without pointing the other's.
Solid Snake took over Outher Heaven and Zanzibar land, thus destroying 2 Metal Gear prototypes, defeating also star operative Grey fox and Foxhound commander and "best soldier of the XX century" Big Boss at his 20's.
He took down the whole foxhound unit (excluding revolver Ocelot), Metal Gear REX and Liquid Snake, his genetically superior brother (he didin't KILL him tough) at hi's 30's also he infiltrated the S3 project and fooled everyone around the Big Shell including the Patriots themselves and ultimately got the info Solidus and Liquid were unable to get.
And now he's preparing to infiltrate the strongest Outher heaven yet, even tough his body is so deteriorated he only has 6 months to live.

Big Boss is the original; I like him better then Solid Snake.

In both "Operation: Intrude N313" in the original outher heaven and "Operation: Intrude F014" in Zanzibar land Snake was originally naked, no nanomachines, no camouflage and he had less gadgets that naked snake during "Operation snake eater" altough he had a radar equiped. He presumabely had to heal his own wounds and got his equipment stolen in the middle of the mission, he, just like naked Snake recovered it later tough
However, Big Boss was in his 70s when Snake killed him.
Yeah, I know that is a point for big Boss, however like I said before Snake had to infiltrate both armored countryes before each duel, special mention to the outher heaven incident in wich he defeated Big Boos despite being a "Rookie" :amuse
Still tough, Big Boss was his master so no wonder

Ryu was brainwashed by Bison, storywise. Sagat had to battle him out of it in Alpha 3.

He lost to Oro, who was blind, had one arm sealed, and didn't use his real power.
Right now, it's most likely that Ryu is training with Oro.

Dante and Vergil come to mind, riding a missile, pulling your chest through a sword. Those moments owned, sword owned most i thought it would do some cheapness like lessen my health greatly but he came out just fine.

MGS is in a whole 'nother league of awesome, compared to DMC, although Dante and Virgil are quite bad ass, they don't match up to Snake and BB.

IMO, comparing DMC to MGS is like apples and pears. Yes, pears.
DMC may not have much story, but some characters and the gameplay (save DMC2) make up a huge bulk of it.
Comparing the gameplay of both games would then be like apples and oranges.

Guy's...GUY'S.....your all wrong on this one. Sure, Big Boss/Naked Snake is ALMOST the epitomy of Bad-ass in the Universe, however, he, like Jesus, sit's on the right hand of the GOD of Bad-Assness...

Not only THE reason why the states won WWII in the MGS universe, she's the only person to be able to hand Naked Snake his ass anytime of the week. Did I mention Naked Snake was in love with her? Did I mention that THE BOSS(It must be in caps everytime her name is mentioned) basically had to ASK, LET, and FORCE Naked Snake to kill her, so she could go out in the most bad-ass way possible? Naked Snake/Big Boss was her bitch the entierty of MGS 3. Sorry kiddos, go to bed, this thread is done, THE BOSS proclaims it to be so....
