How many bloodlusted pigeons does it take, to take out one human?

How strong is the human? Is he/she weak to the point where he/she can only do damage with his/her shotgun? Or is he/she strong enough to punch out a pigeon or at least use his/her shotgun to knock them out? What about the human's skill at using shotguns?

I would say ~60+ assuming he/she is strong and he/she has prior experience with shotguns. There's just a point where zergging will defeat something.

Well, it depends on the calibur of the shotgun. Assuming that the man has 20 or so gauge ammunition, IE birdshot then its a simple case of math. To kill a man, over a hundred superficial wounds are neccessary. The pigeons cannot hope to get a killing blow as their beaks are unlike crows not that long, and their talons would make a parakeets look deadly. So, assuming again, that there is some range, and the pidgeons flock, the man can take out 5 or so before they attack. Then his flailing will take out about 1 every 20 or so seconds while they inflict wounds on him at a rate of 1 per 10 seconds per pidgeon. Assuming that the wounds bleed at a steady rate of 1 cc per 5 seconds, on average, then we need approximately 8000 wound/ 5 seconds. Now without some serious brain sweat I can't do this and I hate sweating my brain, so I will rough it and say you need in the vicinity of 60 pidegeons to kill the man.

I dunno, you could gun butt them wilst loading, also a shot gun has a wide range, you would take out a lot in a sing shot.

Though on the same note, pigeons are fucking annoying. Probably about 200. It would take a lot of them to seriously put you on the ground, an amount like 20 you would be able to kill before they kill you. Though 200 is a bit much.

If they're intelligent enough one could crawl in your mouth and suffocate you. I don't think it'd take more than 30 or so. Even with a shotgun, once they're on you, you can't shoot yourself.
