Hatake Sakumo|Konoha's White Fang|Konoha no Shiroi Kiba

Hatake Sakumo, father of Hatake Kakashi was a very powerful man in Konoha Village. He was known as "The White Fang" and received respect that rivaled that of the Legendary Sannin. Sakumo is easily recognizable by people from all over and known for his sword that emitted white light. He was known to have killed Akatsuki member Sasori's father when Sasori was still a young child. The legendary Chiyo of the Sand Village (Sasori's grandmother) actually mistook his grown son, Kakashi, for Sakumo himself and attacked him.

Many years ago, Sakumo was carrying out a top secret mission in enemy lands. When his companions suddenly got stuck in a life or death situation, Sakumo decided to save them instead of carry out the mission. Because of this, the Fire Country suffered a great loss and the blame was put on Sakumo. The White Fang was disgraced by his beloved village and even the companions he had saved. From this, Sakumo became weak physically and mentally and ultimately commited suicide.
A true hero, Konoha's White Fang, Hatake Sakumo.

Sakumo appears in all his badassness in chapter 239, go and download it just to see him (we don't get a shot of his face, but still).

Actually, Sakumo is shown three times in silhouette in 240, and then his upper body is shown from the back in 241 (and shown again in 242). raikiri_kakashi, you are obviously a big Kakashi fan, so I suggest you read Kakashi Gaiden. Download chapters 239-242 on NarutoFan.com to know all there is to know about Kakashi and Sakumo. Don't worry about spoiling the anime either since this is like it's own story.

Nope that was the first Mortal Kombat movie. The second one is ten times worse than that one since I thought the first one was pretty good. You can tell that they wanted to put as many characters as they could in Annihilation as possible. People are just randomly popping out and fighting. It's so corny.

1) Each chapter is about 3MB. That's not big at all, especially if you're only gonna download Kakashi Gaiden. My Naruto manga folder on my computer is around 800MB, though. lol 2) The Shounen Jump translations are inferior to Inane (the leader in Naruto scanslating) anyway. It won't hurt to download a few chapters. ;)

I've heard about Mortal Kombat Conquest. It wasn't the animated series, right? I don't really remember anything about the animated series except that in one episode they showed Kabal's face... and Nightwolf had pet wolves follow him around. I've seen pictures of all the ninjas unmasked from that show. Rain had a bowl cut, Ermac looked like a punk, and Sektor was black.

O_O You've never played MK3, UMK3, or MKT??? (Mortal Kombat 3, Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, Mortal Kombat Trilogy) Sektor and Cyrax were in MK3 and they was Lin Kuei robots along with Smoke. Then when MK3 got upgraded to UMK3, they added Rain, Ermac, Human Smoke, and Noob Saibot then they brought back Reptile, Scorpion, and Classic Sub-Zero. And then MKT had everyone in it from MK1 and up even the bosses. Mortal Kombat Mythologies (Sub-Zero) came out after all of those anyway. You must play UMK3!! All my favorites are in it. XP

I think the last MK of the 'normal' series I played was MK2, but I was too young and the names were too weird for me to remember to them, then again, when I was young(er) fighting games didn't catch my attention, now they do though.

Yeah I was kinda disappointed there was no SU (Super unlockables) in Deception like fighting Smoke and Noob in MK2 and the rare case of fighting ermac in mk1. The SU's in Deception were supposed to be Liu Kang and Raiden; but Boon and crew made them easier to get.

Also yeah I'll join...but only if I can have a pony :amuse

You know, when I said that I was going to probably have MKT before the end of the day I was joking because the place where I go to buy my games are pretty random on their list of merchandise, one day they're full of RPGs and the next they have only fighting games or just random games that have nothing in common.

But when I was walking back home from my evening classes, I remembered this and decided to check it out, when I was skipping through the PSX games I was thinking about other things, and then I saw it and skipped back, so I bought it and right now it's sitting on the desk right next to the Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver game that I also bought because the name sounded cool.

So, any tips or hints before I start getting my figurative butt kicked in MKT?

It took me so long to get online because I woke up late, then I played MKT (Noob Saibot pwns ghosts, demons, humans, sorcerors and ninjas alike, as long as they aren't Shao Khan whom I hate for his cheapness) all the day until I had to go to evening classes, then I bought Capcom vs SNK.

I was also watching Rocky 5 in the TV and, despite the obvious differences in character and badassness, Rocky reminded of Sakumo, Kishi should make a Gaiden of him, hey, he already made Yondaime say at least some words, Sakumo deserves words too.

I remember 1 particular thread, Nidaime got so tired of repeating himself that he just stopped answering to the thread (which died a few posts after his) leaving with a batman joke, but that thread was just Nidaime answering to one guy and then the guy leaving and another one appearing his place suddenly and with the almost exact same opinion as the one that just left.

People make anti FCs because of many reasons, I suppose the most common one is to try to be cool by being rebels and hating something that many people like (GFaqs OT board has many of this type of people).

Sometimes just because they have a different opinion on the object/person/action/whatever than the FC of said object/whatever (think of a discussion with 2 people with different opinions, but only bigger and it's much easier to degrade to flames and name-calling thanks to it being many people instead of only 2), I think this is the reason Vash let the anti yaoi FC survive the extermination of the anti FCs (other than the fact the owner of said thread made the anti-FC after the extermination of the anti-FCs).

And if Nidaime knows which are Anko's sexual fetishes... we've got to find someway to make him spill the beans (or find some way to resurrect Narutoinfo.com, both options sound equally good to me).

Beating Shao Kahn can prove to be tough, Nyarlathotep. He's probably easiest to beat with Sub-Zero since the freeze actually works on him. With any character, just remember to use a lot of uppercuts. Stay down until he approaches you and then blast him in the chin.

Great news: According to Ed Boon, the Gamecube version of Mortal Kombat Deception will have Shao Kahn and Goro as playable characters. Hopefully they'll throw some other goodies in there as well. *mouth froths*

Yeah, if you check her gallery, that how most of her characters look. She puts a lot of creases and shading on faces and it unfortunately made Kakashi look a bit like a mean dwarf man. lol It's still well drawn and well colored.

I'm just hoping for TONS of filler in the Kakashi Gaiden arc. I want to see a lot more Sakumo, Obito, Yondaime, and Rin. The 6 chapters of the gaiden could be animated into 2-3 episodes, but I'm hoping for at least 6 episodes. Hey, even the Idate arc was 6 episodes. :) A little bit of Sakumo and Kakashi interaction would make my day. I'm pretty optimistic about filler for this because Kishimoto said before Kakashi Gaiden that he had a lot of stuff he wanted to fit into 6 chapters so I'm sure he had some material that he couldn't squeeze in. Maybe he'll have a Sakumo (frontal) sketch drawn up for the animators. Man, I can't wait.

Believe me, if you think that nobody would write that pairing, you still have many things to learn about fanfiction, to quote another person who commented on my weird pairing list: Naruto is the type of anime where anybody can be paired with anybody for no reason at all. You also need to take into account that KakaSaku is a more or less popular pairing in fandom.

As I said, I think we should just stick with the fanart, fanfiction + Sakumo = :nono.

For some reason I started sketching as soon as I finished posting the last time... Something has come over me. I have most of his body sketched out (no legs). It's gonna be hard having him covering his face without it looking awkward. I'll figure it out... or just abandon it... I've been known to never finish drawings (examples: Little Sasuke with schoolbag, Obito, etc.)

Save it. Upload it to your own hoster. Take the URL and put it between the IMG tags, like so: URL. Now, you place that tag in between the URL tags, like this:

[*url= URL of the site you're linking the image to]
URL of image
[/url*]

And do it without the *

Well first off, you aren't the owner (I am) so you have to use the regular banner. It's on the first page of the thread.

It's like this...

Then all you have to do is take out the spaces in [/ IMG] and [/ URL] and it'll work fine.
