As I remember Musication and Familia also released in spring!
Maybe the brand new HMKU album will release in the spring of 2008??

Hm, that's an interesting thought! I never really listened to their Instrumental songs, but maybe I should give it a try! I can't wait to hear all these new HMKU songs, from the FLOW collaboration and from the new Oboeteru single~!

Why certainly! Their real names are on the front page too: MICRO is Niimi Futoshiyuu, KURO is Mizutani Satoru, and U-ICHI is Takemoto Yuuichi. Thanks to vision for digging those up and translating them for us! :)

For some reason, my bandwidth has been exceeded for the month of October even though I haven't used my account in a while. All the images will be restored and usable on November 4th though. With help from the Japanese Wikipedia entry for HMKU (http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/HOME_MADE_%E5%AE%B6%E6%97%8F) and vision's awesome translating skillz, we were able to deduce Niimi Futoshiyuu. ^w^

As for the busyness part, I definitely understand what you mean. I haven't had spare time in a long time, and it's only because it's Thanksgiving break that I have time for NF right now. (Happy Late Thanksgiving, by the way!) I'm guessing you've heard about Oboeteru being released in January? It's pretty exciting~!

So Shigatsu and I were looking on the HMKU blog yesterday and we both think that HMKU filmed a PV in NYC. (Yes, they were in NYC and I live about 40 minutes away from the city...but alas, they went back before I came home and it just wouldn't have worked out...but just knowing they were in the same state as me is pretty darn exciting. :love) Check out the first page of the blog (http://playlog.jp/home-made/blog/) and scroll down to the NYC pics...what do you guys think? You're so right, I couldn't have said it better myself! It's very distinctly FLOW, but HMKU blends in sooo well. Compared to LOST REASON with abs and MICRO, NIGHT PARADE has a better blending of styles. Don't get me wrong, I loved abs & MICRO's collab, but I love NIGHT PARADE even more. :love

Sorry I've been so out of the loop with HMKU as of late. I did catch the collab with FLOW. While I do agree that it's more of FLOW's style (after all, it is more of their release), I think the HMKU made a great addition. And FLOW's music is pretty good and upbeat too, not too different from HMKU. Horray for being record label buddies.

Oh, and I didn't realize it until a few weeks ago. We totally skipped KURO's birthday. The poor thing.

But that's not why I rushed over to the FC. I've actually heard a really awesome HMKU song for the first time in my life. I think it's one of their older works, but since I'm all burnt out on their recent works, I'm really liking this one. Has anyone heard (or maybe even has) "Merry Go Round?" Its pace is a bit slower, more easy. Like SEAMO and MICRO's "Hanjuku Lovers."

1. Home Made 家族 have redone their website that would fit there new single Oboeteru which they have a preview of ~~~ :amuse (i :love it)

I don't know about everyone else, but I managed to find the other songs thanks to vision <3 The songs are JOYRIDE, Manabi no Mado and LIFEWORK!? I could have sworn I uploaded HMKU's entire discography for the FC but I guess I didn't! I'll set to work on that soon. :amuse It would just be a lot neater and easier for everyone, methinks. I remember I accidentally uploaded the Instrumental version the first time, but was I ultimately able to upload the Radio Edit for you? Heh, funny thing was that I got a bit confused there too when you first uploaded it to me.

Oy, I totally forgot about Oboeteru in all the excitement of Night Parade.

That PV really was too beautiful. They really pulled out all the stops this time. I SMELL ICON MATERIAL. The song itself is really beautiful, too. Gets stuck in my head, actually. "Oboeteru, ima mo oboeteru..."

After listening to it, I find that I'm more drawn to HMKU's love songs. They're really something else.

So uh, I've watched the PV like three times (still loving it), but the language barrier is preventing me from fully understanding the meaning. I know "Oboeteru" is something along I lines of "I remember," and I know that the main character is reuniting with a lost love, but is he ditching one and coming back to his old one, or is this all his original love?

first off, I'd like to say that this is my first post on this forum.

Aww, I wish we could buy stuff from the Official Goods site! There's so much I would love to get from it! I'm actually hoping to study abroad in Japan either junior or senior year of college...my school has a study abroad program there, and my friend would go with me if we decided to...the only thing is, I might have to go to Spain instead because I'm planning to minor in Spanish...but then again, it might be my only change to actually go to Japan...ahh! I have some time to decide, but it's something to think about. Going to Japan is one of my dreams~

Hmm...if you organized the vacation juuust right, it could be equal measures of fun and learning! Bandwidth explosions are usually caused by bunches of people directly linking to your images. Direct-linking is a pet peeve of webmasters of graphic sites as it eats up bandwidth and will eventually cause the site to shut down.

In other words, maybe your album crashed because lots of people have discovered how much HMKU goodness is in it? Which would be a good thing for us, as we're accomplishing our mission of spreading the HMKU love. :nod
Oh yikes! But...yay! :haha I thought they might have reduced the bandwidth for non-Pro members, but I think you're right--I think a lot of people have discovered the FC and/or the gallery and have been direct-linking the images. It's good and bad. So far it hasn't been too bad of a problem. If it gets much worse...maybe I'll have to make the folder private and just PM the FC members the password or something. I'd hate to resort to that, though. Then again, it resets on the 4th of every month, so it shouldn't be too much of a problem. I suppose we'll see what happens!

Don't get lost in Japan! It's small, but it's diverse. I just saw Anthony Bourdain on the Travel Channel visit Japan rerun for the fifth time on Monday. It never gets old!
Haha yeah, I'll have to prepare mucho before I go (if I get to! *fingers crossed* I don't know if it'll work with my Spanish minor). LOL, Anthony Bourdain is so funny, but I never saw the Japan one!! I'll have to catch that one sometime, I'm sure I could learn a lot from his travels there! :nuts

EDIT: FUDGE, I just realized that they aired the Japan episode last night at 5 pm ToT They won't air it again until Feb 5!! Shucks...I requested an email reminder of that airing on the Travel Channel site XD

I get my TV appearances from JPOPSUKI (http://mullemeck.serveftp.org/jps_beta/). It's the best torrent tracker for Japanese shows, PVs, singles, albums, etc. I've ever encountered. You have to be a member (don't worry, it's free) and you have to build up a good torrent ratio in order to really benefit from it. You can probably find TV Tokyo and the J-Dramas you want. The minglong Tracker (http://tracker.minglong.org:8080/index.html) occasionally has video files, and Tokyo Toshokan (http://tokyotosho.com/) is nice and diverse with its media too.

yah i tried that i used Mastersplitter but it doesnt support .Vob and i cant find any freeware that can convert the .vob to another extension :(

Phew, good choice! I hear Vaios are a good way to go...yeah, I definitely wouldn't recommend a Dell because of the terrible battery life and battery quality in general. They had to recall a bunch of batteries because some caught on fire!! O__O Luckily mine wasn't one of them...but just knowing that Dell batteries can do that sure is scary!

It's really easy to accumulate a lot of clutter on a computer...plus I'm a pack rat who never throws anything out (in real life and on my laptop XD) because I never know when I might need it! XD

Oh well, 13 on the chart isn't so bad. I personally thought that Oboeteru was mind-blowingly awesome. I really liked pretty much all three of the songs. I think Oboeteru could be my all-time favorite so far...

HMKU's at it again! They were really inactive for the latter part of 2007, but now, it looks like they're back with a vengeance! I can't believe Heartful Best Songs is coming out this week, in addition to the announcements of release for other DVDs.

Oh, poor lo-blo! I HATE it when that happens. But thanks for the PV link! I remember that PV was the premiere for MICRO's and KURO's new 'do.

Yeah! Most of them are what I'm assuming to be the ones that are the best of what they've got, so the majority of the songs we already heard before. Personally, I think they made good choices. Many of the songs that's on it are my favorites.

But I'm really looking forward to their remixes, especially their Oboeteru one. Can they do as good of a job as they did on the original one? Or will they make it...even better? There's also a couple of songs that's never-before been heard of, so I'm also anxious for them!

Thanks for also working on the translation! A beautiful song like Oboeteru just isn't enough without knowing the meaning. Oh, and I don't want to bother you so much if you don't have the time, but would you hate it if I asked you to translate "Futari ga Iine?" It's undoubtedly my favorite song on the album. Yes, even topping "Homesickness" because I think I totally burnt out that song a while ago. ;_;

And wow, HMKU made 6th for...wait, what exactly is this? It's not Oricon charts, is it? Well regardless, making it in the upper ten in anything is good! Although...Number One of the chart was pretty good, too. I've just recently heard Perfume's music, and "Baby Cruising Love" is one of their best. But I digress.
