Ladies and gentlemen...by the last quarter of 06' (October or somewhere around there) the greatest freaking game will be released, highly improved from it's rather unsuccessful INFECTION predecessor series, it will be released with BETTER graphics, a better plotline, and better gameplay. The only thing I'll tell you is that he's a Multi-Weapon, and I think the Twin Blades are his first choice. Multi-Weapon is one of the NEW classES

This game has been out in Japan for a while now. It's really good.

Here are some of the biggest things in the new games, story-wise *HUGE SPOILERS*
First off, you start the game with a lvl 133 Haseo. However, in the beginning you get data drained by Tri-Edge and have all of yur beyond kick-ass items and stats taken away, reducing you to a lvl 1 character (In other words, a pussy). Hey, at least you didn't end up in a coma!

Second, Haseo is given the name "The Terror of Death" for a reason. This is because that was Skeith's title. Soon you find out why you have that title (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z-Uuz019zq4&search=skeith). You can only really be transformed when fighting other "phases". Basically, in that state, you can fire energy blasts and use yur scythe. The point of those boss battles is to hit them with energy blasts until they are stunned, then close in and do a scythe combo. Then rinse and repeat. At first, Haseo is really arrogant about using Skeith, but he later finds out that he isn't the one in control

Anyway, the final boss of the game is Tri-Edge. You can beat him using a level 45+ party without too much trouble (which is kinda sad, since you first took him on with a lvl 133 character and couldn't so much as scratch him). Anyway, after the (very easy) first fight, Tri-Edge data drains the whole dungeon and uses it to transform into some kind of "super phase" called the Azure God (*gasp* Big shock!) and you have to finish him off using Skeith. Also, he does a lot of bitching about how you shouldn't be capable of beating him.

I'll get to stuff like skills and gameplay itself in the next post.

Also, something may not be important, but it's not a spoiler: When there are cutscenes involves Pai, you get some serious "movement", if you know what I mean........what, I'm a guy! I notice these things!

Hey, well the scene where Tri-Edge used Drain Heart on the surrounding area and became the Azure Flame God was most badass, quite possibly because it's one of the many scenes in which Haseo turns into Skeith, which as you can see...I take much preference to.

Multi-weapon: Use twin blades, a chain saw, and a scythe(?) (got the third one from the ending)

Gunner: I believe Sakisaka and Ovan are gunners

Claw users: Tabby uses claws, but I think she once used a sword in a combo with Sakisaka, so I dunno

Ninja: That girl in TaN, and she had a lot of ninja followers.

Seperation of Wave Masters(?) to Dark and White Magic? (Shino is mostly white magic, they said)

Fist/Gauntlet Fighters: Judging by the guy who left the Brigade

Alchemy as a side-job? B-Set often hung out in the Alchemy area.

Ok..what the fuck? First off, how did he even GET there? He's a PKKer, NOT a hacker. Second, I think he couldn't beat Tri-Edge because he didn't have Skeith..even so, how the HELL could he NOT even get in an attack if his level was THAT high? Geeze..I swear to God they're making games even weirder..

1) I believe he entered the area the same way Atoli did, by touching the "sign".

2) Haseo does defeat Tri-Edge, but he'll no doubt return somehow. He's on the disc art for Vol.3, after all.

3) Haseo beating Tri-Edge despite not touching him before...plot device, or plot induced stupidity...take your pick. Tri-Edge doesn't really do much to retaliate.

it's sorta sad and Ironic how Tri-edge is defeated though I mean get serious. your at lvl 133 (basiclly your a Rape master) and you can t do so much a make a dent in his cloths, let alone entertain him. and then at a Pussy lvl 45 Haseo makes mince meat of Tri-edge. . .does anyone here see a major Plot hole here?

Well..at least it doesn't have the repetitious-ness like it's counter-part of the Infection series..which sucked anyway. I still like Haseo (All though I wish he could use Blade Master weapons)

Hey, his Multi-Weapon weapon choices consist of Twin Sword, Brandish and Flicker, what more could you want?

Oh, and in regards to the second Tri-Edge fight, like I said, he doesn't fight back much anyway. Not only that, but also when you consider that while Haseo is only Level 50, this time he has two Level 50 comrades...all three fighting a primarily stationary opponent, I'd say it could happen (well, it did).

Hey, at least it's not as bad as the time a Level 50 Orca (a Densetsu no Player Character at that) couldn't even touch Skeith, yet regardless of your level by the time you fight Skeith (generally Level 30), you can easily hit the thing.

In that case, you could just stick with using Twin Sword until Vol.2: Kimi Omou Koe, then when you unlock 3rd Form, you can switch to Flicker.

Oh, something one of my friends pointed out in one of those vids that wasn't quite accurate.

In Movie #24, Haseo's line is "Temee wa nani mono da? Hacker? Hibun-Tsukai? AIDA ka?", meaning "What are you? Hacker? Epitaph-Wielder? AIDA?". MasterXHunter heard Hacker as "Baka" and translated it to "Idiot".

Although, if you've seen the vid recently, that's not a problem, as MasterXHunter has since rectified this himself.

Yarr, neither of those were plotholes. Kite could fight Skeith because the Bracelet was protecting/augmenting him and his party. Haseo could fight Tri-Edge because he had awakened Skeith inside him.

The plot is most definitely the driving force behind .hack's fanbase, I'd say the only other thing that keeps people interested is the concept (virtual MMORPG for the win)...I mean, the first four games hardly had what I'd call terrific gameplay, no one can deny that.

He isn't Aida he was created by Aura along with Azure Orca and Azure Balmung to combat Aida.
