what happened with the whole shanks and mihawk fight?

i remember seeing an episode in the dub where mihawk goes to some island where shanks and his crew are cause he wants to talk to shanks about luffy then when mihawk's about to leave shanks says that he cant let mihawk leave then it just shows shank's men take out their swords

did it ever show what happened? or did i just miss the episode where it shows them fight?

maybe that's in the dub, but in the sub, it cuts to show everyone drinking and singing, and shanks forcing mihawk to drink too.

what i find most horrible is that no one seems to stop 4kids :huh everybody knows what a crappy job they're doing, but none the less, nobody moves a finger! do they have diplomatic immunity or somethin'?

but their harm to OP shall never been undone. they ruined one of the best anime of all time, and most likely it won't be redone. a lot of people just watched the dubbed version, and recognized it for the piece of shit it is, but never realized how much better the original actually is. it put off hundreds, if not thousands, of people off the greatness that is OP!

4kids delivered a mighty blow to OP, but there are those who recognize the original as the work of art it truly is, with a storyline and art that make us feel a part of the story, that makes us cry and laugh at the same time, that carries such emotion and values wich never feel out of place, with unique characters that reach and wrench your heart like no other anime! OP carries a feeling that's unable to find in any other anime, it is a world of imagination, dreams, wonders... truly a gem that shines through all the animes of today, sucking us into the story, like no other anime of today can.

Not sure which 'Dub' Piece episode, but it's probably at the very end of the Arlong Arc. The One Piece episode is #65, entitled "BOUNTY! Straw-Hat Luffy Becomes World Famous!", which shows all the characters finding out about Luffy's 30mil beli bounty for kicking Arlong's ass.

I think that was also cut from the dub.

Basically, because 4kids wanted to remove references to drinking, they screwed up Shanks's character. In the dub it went something like this:

*Mihawk sees Luffy's bounty, and heads to Shanks to tell him*
*Shanks lesser men see Mihawk and get scared*
Mihawk: Shanks, blah blah Luffy has a bounty now.
Shanks: Well I can't let you leave now like this....

*end scene*
What REALLY happened:

*they all get drunk*
Shanks: We need to party to celebrate!
Mihawk: :huh

They aren't on bad terms, and 4kids not only messed that up, but they made Shanks look like an asshole and look like he was somehow mad at Luffy. Morons.

yo its funny actually my friend is the 4kids sign and he is going to try to get ichigo to sign a contract to make him stronger than the One Piece Characters beat the sign down and the naruto characters come on stage and be like hahaha you got dubbed by 4kids believe it.
