I've heard A LOT (and I mean a lot) of stuff about CP9 from One Piece and how strong/cool they are. I've only seen about 20 eps of the dubbed One Piece and that's about it, as far as the dubbed ones on Cartoon Network go, I haven't seen CP9 introduced yet....

so which single ep of One Piece shows CP9 at their best? I wanna see and hopefully, it'll convince me to get the whole series :/

btw, I'd wouldn't mind if someone gave me a brief summary about CP9 and it's members...

CP9 is in current arc in the manga (400+ chapters), the anime isn't close to that arc yet.

The anime isn't there yet, read the manga, it will be worth it, otherwise you could just watch the eps until where they are, and then read the manga. :)
