I agree. though I also believe it can have more depth and smudge the lighting a little more.

Good pic. A bit more shading could be useful, but the highlights and the colours are okay. Recommendation - add another layer and shade with a slightly darker tone of the same colour, gives you a better contrast with the highlights.

The eyes are definitely a great job, Bass. Keep it on, you got skills. :amuse

that looks nice, and I would have to agree with the above posters. also the shadow on the nose should be on the other side seeing as you established your light source on the right side of Grimms face.
Otherwise, awesome job, keep it up :thumbs.

actually, the shadow on the nose is good. It's the highlight on the side of his face that is wrong.
