See those animations and wounder "AGHHHH WHY ISNt Min3 l14k thaT !!!11!!!@#"? Anoyed by that white stuff surounding that? Well with this handy dandy tutorial, you can fix that *snap* just like that!
You will go from top to bottom
http://img483.imageshack.us/img483/7908/doubleposters4xe.gif
http://img497.imageshack.us/img497/8299/doubleposters4xe94947el.gif
So follow these easy steps!
First, go to www.Gifworks.com (http://www.GIFworks.com)
Secondly, press under the red circle In this image from the home page (http://img260.imageshack.us/img260/996/temp3di.png)
Third off, press FILE in the little window near the center of the screen
Now you will want to press "File Open" and the mainscreen will change. Thats good
If you GIF IMAGE is already in a url, then copy and paste it into the box most low on the screen
If not, host with IMAGESHACK (http://imageshack.us) and not the GIFworks uploader, its is extremely laggy
Note, you dont have to use yours. For practice, you can use http://img483.imageshack.us/img483/7908/doubleposters4xe.gif and see if you get the results I got.
now, copy and paste the url into the box. Then press Fetch Image
Now you should be back to the box in step three.
Press Edit in the menu and select Add Transparency
Make sure your computer is accepting popups, this will open a new window
Give it a second to load, and it should say "Click the image to select the color you wish to make transparent."
In http://img483.imageshack.us/img483/7908/doubleposters4xe.gif, you would be clicking some white somewhere. However, you could substitue that for anything. For example, in a dark skin, taking away some color other than that would look OK.
Now, right click on the GIF image. You should click properties, copy and paste the Adress (URL), and [img] and [/img/] (just no second slash) and post it somewhere and voila!
Any questions or coments, feel free to post, I will answer to the best of my "intelect" to answer and add to the guide if needed
