Could anyone recommend any fighting manga? I'm talking about martial arts and mixed martial arts manga. I've already found Tough and Shamo and they are so good, they got me hyped for life. But now I'm waiting for new releases from those two ongoing mangas and I'd like to find other mangas of the same kind. I also highly recommend these two mangas. It's mature and very violent, you've been warned.
edit: I should have mentionned that:
- Tenjou tenge/Ikkitosen stuff are too unrealistic.
- I already have the books of Battle Angel Alita and BAA: Last Order.

If you by martial arts include swordfighting, then I have to say Vagabond.
Tenjou Tenge
Not quite realistic but i love that manga too.

Battle Angel Alita
You'll love Change guy. The plot might seem really sucky, but the manwha is awesome.
Manga's Name: Change guy
Author's Name: Eun Ho Son,
Myung Soo Choi
No. Of Volumes: 25 volumes scanlated. 1 volume out by ADV (Licensed)
Status: On going
Licesened: yes
Genre: Shounen (Martial Arts, Street fighting)
Target Audience: It is a lot of violence but nothing gore so i'd say 14+
Synposis: Kang Too Jee, a martial artist / street fighter that devotes his entire life to fighting ends up fighting, Soo Choi who is the ultimate geek who love to study and learn new stuff. Just when Too Jee is about to hit Soo choi, they accidently get hit by a car and both loses their consciousness. The person driving the car is an egoistic and greedy professor who are looking for testobjects for her new 'teleport' machine. She then takes them to her lab and *whoop* the teleport really works and they switch position but the teleport cant teleport the person's 'soul' and they end up with the wrong body. Soo Choi the ultimate geek in Kang Too's body, and Kang Too in Soo Choi's body. We then follow them through their daily life etc.
Why you recommend it: I am a hardcore fighting manga / manwha* fan and this seemed like the perfect manga for me. The art style looks good, the characters are awesome, the fighting scenes are well drawn and there is nothing like "firebolt technique", its all hand to hand combat.
If you like fighting / martial arts manga's, you'll love this one.
Why you DONT recommend it: -
Where to get it: www.k-manga.net is the scanlators website and #k-manga @ irc.rizon.net is their irc channel. I highly also recommend Ares by #k-manga, they scanlate quality stuff.
It got licensed by ADV they changed the name to "QUANTUM MISTAKE" and have in a year only released 1 volume.
Author's other Works: No idea.
*Manwha = Korean / chinese(?) manga's, often read from left to right.

Historys Strongest Disciple Kenichi. Pretty funny fighting Manga. I think it was Korean, but that doesn't really matter.
Many different Martial Art-Types are inside. I guess it isn't as seriuos/dramatic as Shamo, but if you want something to read in between those two Mangas, I recommend it. If you aren't in for Martial Art Mangas, wich aren't funny I dunno what to recommend you....

You can't beat Lonewolf and Cub, but a strong conternder is Balde of the Immortal.
(Not brawling, but there's plenty of fighting and GREAT storylines)

Blade of the immortal is great, but not what I'm searching for... Lonewolf and Cub... tried it but I didn't like it so much.
Thx for you suggestions and keep'em coming.

Rurouni Kenshin might be good, or Flames of Rekka
(also look for it as spelled Flames of Recca --- I believe this is the more popular spelling of it)
Hokage Naruto

So a martial art style manga? Try Baki Grappler, its a great anime and manga.
Thought this isn't what you asked for but if you needa samurai manga, try out Vagabond-- which you can get in the pimping project below. And maybe you should try Hajime No Ippo for a boxing manga.

If you know how to use IRC, Got Lurk? (http://gotlurk.net/) has a few volumes of Baki Grappler.
