On a scale of 1 to 10.(with 10 being the best)
I would give GSD a 6, overall I didn't hate GSD, but it's one Gundam Series I will never watch again.

i'll give it a 5... i did not like it that much as a whole... but i do not hate it. i think GSD showed nothing new. it was just another version of gundam seed told in a different way... not all the gundams can be considered original... most of the gundams were either recycled designs from previous shows, or rip offs... plus the ending felt it was really rushed...

I give it a 4/10.
Inconsistent storyline + uninteresting Gundams (with the exception of the title suit) + LOTS of reused scenes and flashbacks = Bad Gundam series.
What I liked about the series is the soundtrack and some mecha fight scenes.

6 out of 10 cause i loved all the gundams and the mass world ending destruction scenes and lacus and shinn crying (becuase i hate shinn)

Pretty good overall I think. Shinn might be a pathetic, weak minded bastard, but he stayed that way and was a jerk all the way up to the end and made the sound beating he recieved at the hands of Athrun more satisfying. And he made it more of a treat to see Kira and Archangel in action again.

I'll give it 6/10. GSD was okay for me, though the story wasn't nearly as smooth as SEED. The story seemed disorgnanised and wasn't really as flowing. I didn't mind Shin's character to be honest, though I really hated him at the end of the series, but I guess that's what the writers intended.

4/10
Main good point, refined Justice Gundam and nicer pilot suit designs. Main bad point, umm there's way too many to list. God forbid Fukuda screw the movie over, but somehow we all know he will...

4/10.
Way too many gundams. Destiny should have been there from the start not 30+ episodes into the anime. And the cliché revivals and masked men is just laughable. However, I did find the first 15-20 episodes quite enjoyable.

All categories are worth five points.
Plot - 0
Mecha - 2(Destiny, DOMs)
Music - 3 (some songs were good, but others just tanked. Last Ed didn't seem "ending"y enough)
Characters(each character worth half a point)- 1 1/2 (Stellar, Luna, Meyrin.)
So: 6 1/2 out of 20. which is: 3 1/4 out of 10.
Yes, I despised this series that bad. Really, I should say that the new Justice and Freedoms, along with the completely unabashedly obvious Hyaku-Shiki ripoff should take all points away from the Mecha category, but the Destiny was a good homage to the Zeta's normal look and the DOM upgrades were good as well.
Oh, and I guess I'm back at NF.
3/10 It fails compared to the older series that weren't made to sell more models..UC and Turn A were just good :(

3 or 4. too many gundam were either reused or redifined. the only thing i really liked was that strike freedom and justice raped all. but too many fillers and reused scenes. story sucked compared to GS.

6/10 The plot wasn't very good, but Strike Freedom was awesome.

8/10.
It started out great, cooled down a little, then was amazing from Episode 18-38. At that point, I'd put it second only to Zeta for Gundam series.
Unfortunately, it didn't end with Episode 38. The final 12 episodes were a trainwreck of epic proportions. 2(!!) clip shows, inconsistent plots, focus shifting away from the main character, no deaths for the Clyne Faction, Rey suddenly changing in personality after his battle with Kira.
Still, 80% of Destiny was a great show. Its below Zeta and MSG, but its definitely better then SEED.

9. I only wish they would kill lacus and not duplicate her... yes yes i know meer wasn't a clone but that doesn't make it right. Otherwise I thought Shinn was a great addition to the cast and I love how it was more about Athrun in this one.

Started really well, then it kinda dropped~ Athrun and Cagalli's role in GSD was brutal, and i disliked how it ended~ Too cliche 5/10

I shall give it an 7.5 or 8! :yell
Thought it had a really good story plot, and almost all of the characters had some kind of distinguised background instead of "we went to school together" or "we knew each other when we were younger" as in SEED. The gundams were a bit more creative, (though it surprised me that Kira still had the Freedom), so thats why it gets the 8.
It gets the 7.5 because it didn't use all of the characters. For example; Yzak, Dearka, and Miriallia. Those three are my fav characters, so naturally I wanted to see more of them. But because we only caught little glimpses of them it seemed like they were trying to lead us on or something. IDK. But thats what I gave it.
5 out of 10
The storyline IS good, untill the ending. The ending was defenatly one of the worst endings to a series I have ever seen. That alone knocks off a few points. Also (unlike the majority of the Seed fans it seems) I like the new characters. Shinn was an interesting character (moreso than Kira), but I don't see why they had to make him such a bastard at the end of the series (if it wasn't for the Final+ episode, I would have given the series a 3 for lack of character development for Shinn past 'he was a bad guy and he got owned by Athrun. End.)
Soundtracks brilliant, love most of the opening and ending songs (HATE the final OP though). MS designs are good too, I like how they redesigned the Zaku's so they wern't absolute, compleate ripoffs of the UC Zakus. Destroy was good too, so was Impulse, Gaia, Abyss I could go on. But seriously, Strike Freedom? Legend? Why do these suits even exist? They're just copies of the Freedom and Providence, only with extra weapons added on (can hardly say that for Legend though).
Action scenes, again good at first, and stock animation was in Seed so I won't complain about a bit of that. BUT, Destiny had too much stock animation at the end of the series, and once Kira got the SF, all fights with him in it where pretty much the same few scenes of stock footage over and over again. How fun is that? Not at all. And the way that SF and IJ didnt even have a scratch on them at the end of the final battle really pissed me off, no where near as good as the final battle in Seed, at least that had the 'good guys' taking lots of damage, but not here.
So yeah, bad action scenes near the end, bad MS designs at the end... ok, the ending of Seed Destiny pretty much ruined the series, if it ending was done better than I would probably give Destiny an 8. Oh, and whoever had the idea of throwing in so many clip shows should be given a good kick up the arse.
