Something slightly different: Konoha Village in the Marvel Universe

I posted this at the CBR boards, let's see what your scenarios are:

Essentially, Konoha village (the actual physical village) + the three sand siblings (because I like them :p) and the villains (one group of Akatsuki, and one group of Orochimaru + his henchmen, all dropped at separate locations) are transported to earth 616. They have no way of getting back. They retain their basic goals and philosophies and have to, somehow, make an effort to fit in their new world.

How do they do? Who become their enemies and their friends? What do the *villains* do?

Doctor Doom tricks them into teaching him the Death God technique.

They have to go register their superpowers and help hunt down S Class superheroes for the government. Yeah...and Orochimaru suduces Tommy of the Young Avengers because speedsters pwn and Oro is smart enough to know it. Sadly though it doesn't work because Tommy is the straight twin.

Naruto joins Captain America because he wants to live his own ninja way. Cap tells him to go home. Naruto responds with the Sexy No Jutsu. Captain America tells him to go home. Naruto picks a fight with Tony. Captain America at last decides to take Naruto in, if only to stop him from suffering a violent death.

Wanda starts the 'House of A' at the Akatsuki's urging. Afterwards she declares 'No more pants!' and there is much rejoicing.

Edit: Well, duh...I post at CBR a fair amount and when you said you posted there as well I thought 'Well, I wonder what his SN there is' before it occured to me it was the exact same as the one you use here...For the record I'm 'Violently Apathetic' over there.

Arilou, you're not that only one who has placed the Naruto characters in the Marvel universe. I do it all the time in FF (hehehe)



Orochimaru will become closely associated with Snakeroot(Evil ninja cult that is associated with snakes and stuff, they have a magical sword, Elektra slept with the leader Tegaki ) Side Note, Kishimoto read Root of Evil and copied it, I swear.

Orochimaru will also have a fling with Madame Hydra/Viper http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viper_(comics). Cause they are so alike they should just hookup.

Kitty Pryde http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kitty_Pryde (possessed by Ogun, her former mentor/evil ninja dude) will join Akatsuki. And make a damn good member. And hook up Itachi (couldn't resist)

Elektra will take Sasuke under her tutelage after confronting him while under contract to kill Orochimaru (she was hired to kill him by Akatsuki in some elaborate plot to steal his ring and get her to join) Elektra sympathizes with Sasuke cause they have a similar background (brother killed love-one, consumed with revenge)


Wolverine (along with his daughter, Amiko) will meet up with Elektra and Sasuke, Elektra will try to have Wolverine beat sense into Sasuke and teach him stuff... (insert awesome Sasuke VS Wolverine battle)

While all this is going on, Sakura will join the Chaste. Cause she can heal people and stuff. Eh, gives her something to do...

Naruto will also fight Nick Fury. (DUH)

Back to this Sasuke, he will end up getting into this big fight with Itachi (trying to kill Elektra) and accidentally kill Amiko. They became close friends while all of this was going on, and she was his best friend. So her gets MS. But he doesn't want it. He realizes that friendship/love, all that jazz is more important than revenge.

Enter Phoenix. Cause well All KNOW the Sharingan comes from a Phoenix (force) Sasuke makes a deal with the Phoenix (Jean) and trades in his MS for Amiko to be restored. Sappy moment.... err...

Oh, and the Hand will just face off against them constantly. Cause they are 1-dimensional plot devices like that.

Konoha, would of course, continue to accept missions. They'd be different missions, and would probably be considered illegal (assassinations and what-not). Eventually, they'd be considered villains, becuase of the missions they'd take on.

Akatsuki, on the other hand, wouldn't really have a purpose anymore. There are no more demons to hunt down, so they would dissolve. Most likely, they'd be taken into other villain groups, or form their own. I'm sure they'd cause quite a few headaches for various superhero groups.

Orochimaru and his friends would continue to hunt for more techniques. Oro wouldn't just try go get jutsus anymore, he'd try to take the bodies of the most powerful mutants, and superheroes and villains alike. He'd be a key player in the Marvel Universe, after he got a decent body. Imagine if he got Hulk's body? He could take over Banner easily enough. Talk about bad news.

I see Orochimaru as being the most interesting. He'd be the new villain, the new top dog. With Hulk's powers, he could do whatever he wanted, he'd be more powerful than Hulk originally, and still be strong as his human form. It'd be rediculous.

Tsunade would quit being Kage, and move to Vegas.

Jiraiya would also move to Vegas, for other reasons. :jir_thumb

Sand siblings, well I don't know. Gaara would probably team up with Sandman and try to kill Spiderman, just for shits and giggles.

Yeah, they are a splinter-sect of the Hand, right?

Incidentally, I could see an all-out war with the Hand and their splinter sect rather early on. I doubt they like the competition, the Hand will probably lose but they are no slouches either.

As pointed out they really can't do the same types of missions anymore: Heck, they'd be *severely* distrusted just for using kids on their missions. (I mean, Power Pack operate sort of independently.... sending 13 year olds into battle is soemthing *completely* different, I doubt the Powers that Be would like that)

Oh, Marvel U is *full* of demons :p (Mephisto, Satannish, Thog, Zarathos and if you stretch the definition, Dormammu and Shuma-Gorath....) I just doubt the Akatsuki would have any interest in them.

I could also see him working with Mr. Sinister, the two would constantly betray each other, but their goals are so similar I can't see them *not* cooperating.

Personally I think he'd get his ass kicked after he started drooling over the wrong superheroine. I could see say.... Carol Danvers or She-Hulk throwing him into space....

Y'know, I could see Gaara getting *really really annoyed* by Spider-man's taunting. He always seemed to take himself too seriously....

They'd be screwed, there's nothing sort of the Death God that konoha has that can even *touch* him. And it's not even certain they could call upon the Death God in the Marvel U (and anyway Thanos.... special.... relationship with Death herself would probably render it moot)

I was actually thinking Japan, this means they are a bit out of the way and get some time to get their bearings.
