i dont download the Japanese Naruto anime, but ive read the manga and i was wondering how much of the manga have they shown in anime form? (as in what chapter they are currently seeing on tv, disregarding fillers)

They have shown nearly 238 chapters.

They've covered up to chapter 238.

The only thing that hasn't been shown is Naruto raising his first to the Hokage Monument and leaving Konoha.

so 238 is the gaiden, right?
so theyll presumably show a load of fillers and then the gaiden and the rest of part 2 (whenever they finish the fillers, i know theres huge speculation going on about how long they will last)

KG is from 239 to 244 =D. So yeah after these fillers, KG should be animated, and then onto part 2, and then probally more fillers.

i dont read the manga, but what makes you so sure that the part2 will show immediately after the KG? kakashi can tell his story then naruto will be like ok thanks for the story kakashi! then tsunade will say, naruto! another filler mission for you! but i dont wanna give ideas... ^_^

they stop at the kakashi gaiden ... and the anime becomes shit .. .with endless fillers .. (still havent ended after a year)

Yes there could be a few fillers after KG, but i don't think so. Naruto basically leaves with jiraiya before kakashi's story. So they couldn't do that many fillers at all.
