One of the most popular Jedi extended-universe characters.

Yet, as big as a Star Wars fan I am, I've yet to reach his part of the history. Hell, reading all the NJO books and the Old Republic books takes FREAKING long. . .

How? I haven't read any of the stories with Exar Kun but as far as I have understood he could just kill Itatchi with a thought.

Is he a sith lord or a dark jedi?

Anyway can someone tell me what his abilities/powers are?

He was one of the most powerful Sith Lords. He was one of the best lightsaber combatants ever, and invented the double - bladed lightsaber. He could adjust each blade's length, color, and intensity to trick people into dodging a harmless blade and then get killed by the deadly one. He also was known to fight with two sabers at once.

Before he had even gained his full power, he easily killed a massive, powerful, and evil creature created with Sith Alchemy, and he used his powers to banish the spirit of the Sith Lord Freedon Nadd from the galaxy. He conquered the Massassi race on Yavin IV, and had them build a lot of temples and stuff for him, and used his powers to create races of evil and powerful creatures. He turned a bunch of Jedi knights to the Dark Side and led them on a rebellion against the Jedi Order. He killed Vodo - Siosk Baas, who was an incredibly powerful Jedi Master (way stronger than Yoda). He used some powerful Sith artifacts to enhance and focus his power, and it let him destroy 5 red giant stars. When the war he started was going against him and he was going to be attacked and not survive, he used Sith Alchemy to drain the life of the Massassi race and use it to preserve his spirit and attach it to the temples on Yavin IV. Thousands of years later, his spirit reawakened, and he killed one of Luke's Jedi students, and corrupted another. However, he was eventually defeated and banished back to dormancy.

Exar Kun curbstomps Itachi righteous! In less emotionally charge ways let us examine.

1. The force allows you to REALLY see the future. Thats one up on predicting movement and often being wrong.

2. The force can sense life and thoughts over a huge radius. So much for shadow clones, replacement and hiding.

3. The force immunizes the user from illusion, pain and poison. Ooops there goes half of Itachi's arsenal.

4. The force allows you to absorb and dissipate energy and use that to ass rape your foe. Whoops there goes the other half.

5. The darkside, which Kun is well versed, allows you to attack mind body or SOUL, while standing back and doing nothing, and it allows you to do it from shit far away.

6. Even if he is engaged, Kun is a master swordsman and is doubtless faster as Jedi deflect dozens of LASERBOLTS.
